I just needed something to put in the bedroom without spending a ton of moneyI have a SONOS so I know what I’m getting.The sound of this soundbar is excellent for the money.I have a large bedroom and this fills the room and I can hear dialog clearly.Liked it so much I bought a second for a smaller playroom.

Bought it for my mother. Great sound, power, and dynamics. Very durable. Great for your TV and playing music. Far better than the Samsung one I own. Adding to the positive reviews that convinced me to buy it in the first place.

This soundbar is definitely an upgrade from the integrated-speakers within my Vizio 60" 4K television. The original speakers were adequate, however, lacking much depth and overall clarity, mostly within the lower (bass) regions.With this soundbar, the audio is more lively and clear, especially the lower-end, it has presence which was, nearly, entirely lacking, previously.The bass-response is still not as quite as fulfilling as I had hoped, however, this unit does not include a standalone subwoofer, regarding which I was aware during purchase, but the bass is definitely more noticeable now.On a scale from 1 to 10, the bass on the television alone was about a 1, with this soundbar, approximately a 5, although I was hoping for about an 8, but, this is still a substantial improvement.Overall, the audio from the television alone was, approximately, a 3, with this soundbar, now a 7, or a borderline-8. Again, significant improvement.Installation and setup was quite easy. Once unpackaged, simply set your soundbar in the desired location (my own rests atop my television stand, nestled neatly between the television's "feet,") connect the AC-adapter and either the optical-input cable or the RCA-output connectors (I have both connected, actually, however, I default to the RCA "AUX" output, as this permits me to control the soundbar volume and Mute with my television's remote control,) power the soundbar on, adjust a few basic settings and enjoy!I shall echo the manufacturer's recommendation that, should you opt for the optical-connection (pun unintentional,) set your television's optical-audio out to "PCM" prior to powering-up your soundbar for the first time.The soundbar also arrives with two wall-mounting brackets which may easily be attached to the soundbar via removing 4 small screws with the rear of the housing, then using them to attach the brackets to the housing. Two drywall-expansion plugs and screws are included from which to hang these brackets, as well. I would recommend attempting to locate wall-studs for these, however, getting things centered and aesthetically-pleasing may be difficult, so drywall-plugs may have to suffice.I have zero regrets within acquiring this audio device; should you be seeking solid-improvement regarding your television audio without spending significant funds, you should consider purchasing.

You cannot go wrong with this soundbar. After carefully reading and looking at the others, I saw this one and immediately added it to my cart. It has 6 speakers!!! 4 on the side and 2 on the top of it. The sound is amazing and the remote control is so easy to use and read. I had no problem connecting it to optical cord and I have no regrets at all.

I purchased this VMAI X-bar soundbar on December 15, 2020. It was listed on the Amazon site as a “used, like new” item. After 2 months the soundbar began dropping the audio input via HDMI (ARC) which then required scrolling through each audio input capability back to HDMI (ARC) to restore the ARC sound. I contacted Amazon support on February 25, 2021 for assistance. It was suggested I contact the VMAI manufacturer to assist with the problem. VMAI then told me they could do nothing since the soundbar was ordered as used. On March 3, 2021 I contacted Amazon expecting to get an exchange. Amazon informed me I was beyond the return/refund date of January 31, 2021 and they could only accept a return if I paid a restocking fee or I accepted an account credit of 20% and kept the soundbar as is. They also suggested I contact the manufacturer for warranty repair if I decided to accept the credit. I took the credit and wrote to the manufacturer on March 3, 2021 using the email address provided by Amazon. My request to the manufacturer was for warranty support service available in the St. Louis area. Long story short, a week has passed and I have never heard from the manufacturer. I then found a web site for the manufacturer that told me nothing about support or warranty. My conclusion is there is no warranty support; even though on the Amazon web site is printed “VMAI US is committed to providing each customer with the highest standard of customer service.”I think the sound quality of this soundbar is good. That is the reason I give the system the few stars it gets. However, when a problem exists, if one cannot get support from the manufacturer, then you must question the product support. In this case I am stuck with a defective product. I would not buy a product again with the name VMAI and I will carefully consider future purchases through Amazon.UPDATE: I am still using this soundbar and it continued to drop the HDMI (ARC) audio on a regular basis and still required scrolling through all audio inputs to restore the HDMI sound, until today. Today the HDMI sound input quit working and nothing would bring the sound back via the HDMI. The only solution was to connect an optical cable and change the TV settings for sound output to Optical. This also caused loss of volume control with TV smart remote. This soundbar has been frustrating since day one. Should have purchased a better more recognized brand.

I was unsure how the sound of this was going to be. I had a 5.1 surround sound system but one of the speaker stand broke. Plus the reciever it had was a DVD, cd player, and radio on it. I didn't really use most of them and felt it was taking up space. I did sound really good. So I gave this sound a try. At first I was not to impressed especially since I was just use to my previous sound system. But things changed when I placed the sound bar above the TV and on top of the entertainment system. What a difference. Maybe its me but it felt like I can hear the bass more. There is a temtplate for you to mount on the wall. I didn't mount it because the wall we have are old drywall and not sure how it will hold. But I bet they would sound great mounted.
