Tarot: No Questions Asked: Mastering the Art of Intuitive Reading

Theresa is the BEST TAROT READER on Earth today!!!! and you can quote me on that!!!!
Ah!!! what can I say about my girl Theresa. I met her at Reader's Studio back in 2016 and she BLEW my socks off!!. When I entered the room, she jumped up and said: "CLIFTON!!!" I knew then it was going to be a good friendship. She sat at my table and we gave each other a tarot reading. Mine was sub-par, but Theresa's was MAGICAL!!!! I had been reading tarot for awhile but never noticed the things she made mention of in my reading. I believe one of the cards in question was the Two of Swords...just another minor arcana card? Not in the hands of THE TAROT LADY!!!! The card became prophetic!! She had given me a reading before from her late podcast back in the day when I called in and I tell you what, she had known NOTHING about me, but I do not know what kind of voodoo or hoodoo or witchcraft she did, but she hit the nail on the head in a matter of seconds. This book is my second purchasing of it. Yeah!! It's that good. I have purchased every single book she has written and this book is no exception. This is what happens when you read tarot every single day of your life for the past 40 years which is what she has done. Get this book!! Write in it! Draw in it! Scribble in it! Take notes after notes. I have read the lesser reviews on here and those people seem to think the book is for beginners or is to simple and they discourage it. Not so! No matter HOW good of a tarot reader you are or for how many years you have been reading, going back to the basics every now and then is fundamental to your success as a reader and is what keeps you fresh and current. This is the "Beginner's Mind" that is so important. Sometimes, it's best to start things over from the beginning and you will learn new things every time you take that approach. It is a fundamental technique in all things esoteric. So, I encourage all who are thinking about reading this or buying it to go ahead and give it a try. Theresa is warm, friendly, NO HOLDS BAR, BLUNT, and caring reader. This book, if you do all the tarotcizes will change your world. Promise!! Theresa Reed does NOTHING half way. Got it? Good! Thanks Theresa for showing us how it's done!

Outstanding and Unpretentious
Among many other parabolic musings, E.J. Gold once said he would not explain to a student how to bake bread, but if that person had tried to bake bread with less than ideal results he might be able to provide useful instruction. You set out to do both, and I expect it also works well for newcomers, but I have to say the above applies in my case, having bungled through so many haphazard hit-and-miss readings over the decades I had never felt I earned the right to let anyone pay me.Reviews must be succinct or no one will put up with them. So let me just mention one part of this book that I reread multiple times before moving on, your analysis of the many facets and connections within The Celtic Cross spread. I confess this spread had begun to feel like an unwieldy, dull and visually noisy layout after 40 years. You presented a detailed breakdown of this well-known spread with clarity, patience and generosity. Although it is clear throughout that you respect the intuitive development and unique perspectives of individual readers, this foundational lesson nevertheless helped me sort out and stabilize the often slippery meanings of the positions themselves, leading me through personal study to a place from which I can examine it freshly and then begin to add my own style and experience.I recommend this outstanding and unpretentious book to other new and seasoned readers. It is clear why the eminent Tarot teacher Rachel Pollack chose to write the preface for you.

Everything you need to know about tarot and intuition is ALL RIGHT HERE!!!
I would give this book 10 stars if I could!!! It is THAT good!Theresa is an obvious master of her craft as a tarot reader but she also knows HOW to teach. She’s full of incredible information about how to form a relationship with the cards using your own intuition and she also shares a bunch of amazing tips and tricks based on how she thinks about the cards, that I have never heard anyone talk about before. I felt like I got to peek behind the curtain into the mysteries of tarot in a BIG way. She’s practical and down to earth and gives a LOT of real world examples to flesh out her concepts. She is also funny and warm and the book is simply delightful to read. I was also struck by her incredible generosity. This book is chock full of fabulous insight and wisdom from how to trust your intuition, how to read the cards and even how to start your own tarot business!!She covers ALL the bases.I’ve been playing around with the tarot for years now but this book has gotten me really excited to experiment with her many suggestions and give myself the opportunity to take my tarot practice to a whole new level!!If you love the tarot, want to learn more about the tarot, want to get better at reading the tarot then BUY THIS BOOK. It will give you everything you need... and so much more.

Amazing book
Very easy going with the feeling that auther was here while you reading it. Very optimistic and refreshing, love this type of tarot vision when people not use only history and complicated divine, magic stuff but can be good in people emotions and psychology, great book.

Disappointing content
I like this author and her videos - love to hear her talk. Also, I love The Uncommon Tarot and think she came up with the first really useful LWB - it's small like other little deck guides, but her descriptions were smart and helpful. So I bought this book fully believing I couldn't help but to love it, too. Well, I don't.In essence, this is anoter 101 tarot book (without some basic information a beginner might need). More than half is dedicated to card descriptions - which are good enough, but do not justify my purchasing another book describing all 78 cards. I am past that. Not that I despise a new point of view, but these days I have been looking for something more. Then comes the intuition part, which I really thought downright bad. It simply presents tips for improving your intuition in general aspects - tips I considered foolish and useless. She also includes several personal anedotes I don't think add much (besides making a few readers perhaps believe one has to be a psychic to read tarot). In this second part the book does present three types of spreads + interesting examples and explanations; but though I liked that part, I don't think they teach anything about intuition reading. The way she uses and explains about the Celtic Cross is one of the best I have seen, and it made me like the spread better than I have so far (my two stars are for that part alone). Then comes a part with more tips; few of them have to do with intuition. Most are tarot info like significators or elemental dignities - but dealt with in a way that is too superficial to help a beginner or to have relevance for someone who knows something about those topics. For example, there are tips to pic a significator, but not a word about why or how to use them. The topics are just presented, but at least there are suggested books for those who wish to really learn about them. Then comes a chapter with more suggested exercises, but I don't like those. And finally a chapter on starting your business. It is not relevant to me, but might be useful for someone interested in becoming a professional.I really had looked forward to read this book, and I still think Theresa Reed could write great books sharing the knowledge she obviously has. I believe she only needs a good editor. This is no critcism against Wiser Books, but against ALL editors: let's please be less eager to launch and market new books, and more careful with content quality - so that you really make a good author shine and a reader happy?

Ordinary not so unique
I purchased this book after reading so many positive reviews but dont know why so many positive reviews, all 78 cards descriptions are very ordinary, better you will get in depth details description about 78 cards from google. There is no aspect covered if these cards come in health, career, education and other things. Intuition part is good but this book is very ordinary, not covering things how to make a good story and other things. For very basic level its good.

Schönes Deutungsbuch
Es macht Spaß mit der Autorin die einzelnen Tarotkarten zu entdecken. Jede Karte wird mit Übungen zusätzlich deutlich. Gut zum Schmökern.

Great book for experienced tarot reader as well as beginners
I bought this book on Kindle, just to see what it was like, and I'm now tempted to buy the print book to keep as an easy reference manual. Many tarot books provide beginner information—the meanings of the cards, the history of tarot, a few spreads to try, and very general information on how to 'read' tarot. This books provides all these things, BUT it also goes into a great deal of depth and gives easy-to-understand samples of how actual readings work.It also discusses ethics of readings, the formulation of questions to get the best results, and general approaches to doing readings for others. It pragmatically swipes away many misconceptions and pitfalls a tarot reader may encounter, but it never plays down the intuitive and subliminal nature of tarot at all. This is a very respectful book. What's even better ...this author manages to accomplish all of this via a friendly, chatty and accessible way. She simplifies, and doesn't complicate the issues. Fantastic. She includes 'tarotcizes' ...exercises ...in handling, reading, understanding and analysing the tarot. These may well be very useful, but I haven't tried them yet. But I HAVE found myself taking copious notes to use while doing readings in the future. I must say I am a fairly experienced reader, and have been doing it (unpaid) for well over 30 years, but this book certainly showed me I can still acquire helpful tips and attitudes which make my use of the tarot clearer and more accurate.I totally recommend this book.
