ProKeeper Flour Storage Container, 4-Quart, BPA-Free Plastic, Dishwasher Safe

Nicely sized spice dispensers, and they stack, which can be convenient in a cupboard for storage. I bought this set because I'm planning to blend up a sprinkle blend with culinary-grade lavender buds. I'll grind them up, strain out the larger pieces, then mix in some blackberry powder for a dash of different flavor, plus coloring. Then I can add a dash or two of this mixture to lavender lattes.For the other one I am thinking of another unique powdered topper for lattes. Not quite sure which flavor profile to pursue, but thanks to the Internet I will be able to have some inspiration.These shakers were easy to clean and will be very easy to fill. The lids open cleanly, and close snugly.

I love these containers. I had to return the most recent ones I purchased because they were delivered in a plastic Amazon bag with no cushioning wrap and were broken in transit. Each of the two containers was in its own clear plastic bag with a barcode and then the two were placed together in a white shipping bag. The bottoms of each were broken with shards found in the bags. I have several others that I received previously that were not broken. My baking cabinet is full of them in various sizes and shapes. Things I love about them… The various sizes fit my needs. They seal well. The optional scraper bars are genius and I like that they store attached to the inside of the lid when not in use. They stack nicely and have low risk of one falling off the other when being shifted around on the shelf. The closure mechanism is easy to open and close with arthritic hands. The only negative I’ve found is that each of them has a notch at the top of the container (where the lid latches) that drops down lower than the rest of the top rim. This makes it so it can’t be filled to the top of the container, but really isn’t that big of a problem.

These spice containers are larger than the standard jar (2.5" square) and come with a insert that is half shaker, half open, which is perfect for either dipping in whole teaspoons or sprinkling a bit of seasoning. The only drawback is that the bigger size makes them a little harder to organize, as they don't fit as neatly on a standard spice rack. I ended up finding wire shelves that work on amazon though, and they are SO much easier to use than my old set of jars.

We use this great container as a storage container for our dog's food. Food is kept crisp and fresh. It's a great 'mid-way' point from the large bag we purchase. Filling the dog's bowl directly out of the large bag causes the food to get stale over time. By sealing the larger bag between intermediate fill-ups, we have the best of all worlds. We've talked about taking this approach with other foods we get from big box retailers.

I love these storage containers! Even when full they are not awkward to pull off a shelf and/or maneuver around. They also are super clear - they don’t have that murky/whiteish tint other “clear” plastic canisters have. These are almost as clear as glass. They don’t smell super “plastic” when you get them. I give them a good wash and thorough dry, and they age good to go! Keep my flours fresh and bug free.

Nice size, the insert pops out and snaps in easily and securely, seems to seal well. Holes are mid-sized, some things like salt might be better off with smaller holes, but this is perfect for most of what I have. I use this for my dogs kibble. It is airtight and keeps ants out! That is great. Wish they made a larger size.

These are sturdy & well made. It's perfect for mixing my own spice blends.
