Good masks.
Great deal on these masks. I use them to protect exposure to dust. They are comfortable and washable/reusable.

Exceptional in every way! A must buy!
These are unbelievable! I have a family of 6, so buying multiple masks for everyone was looking like an expensive venture...until I found these gems. They fit my 6 year old, 8 year old, 12 year old and both my partner and myself. My 3 year old, wears them too, but they came down long on his neck, which only bothered him at first. I did a hack by adding pony beads to adjust the strings instead of tying because expecting kids to tie wasn't going to happen. Now we just slide the pony beads up to tighten, down to loosen. I made it so some "tie" behind the head/neck and others to loop behind the ear. The only fault is that it's hard for my kids to know front from the back and I really wish these came in a darker color like a neutral charcoal gray or black.Edit: I knew that the polyester would not dye, but I wanted to dye the cotton to reduce the appearance of staining (white fabric and kids is a baaad combo). The polyester did not dye, as I expected, but the cotton did well. The polyester shows just a hint of a shadow of the black dyed cotton backing. I used a Tulip dye packet. My kids also don't seem to mind the poly side being against their face, so in that case, it's a black mask with white stiches.Edit: I saw Bill Nye do the "candle test," so I thought I would try with these masks. The flame barely even wavered, and definitely didn't flickerer. Even getting close the the flame where I could feel the heat on my face, the flame didn't budge. I could not blow the flame out. Excellent product.Edit: I was given mandated quarantine due to be exposed to Covid-19. I wore these masks 18 hours a day, for 10 days to keepy family safe in case I became sick (I didn't get the virus- sidenote both me and the Covid patient had masks on). The masks got a little hot at times, but overall, zero complaints. And the price/quantity received let me change my mask several times a day to continue to reduce risk.

Well Made, Good Value, Works with Glasses...if Modified (Here's How)
Overall ImpressionsJust received them and I am pleased with this purchase. I am a large male of English descent with a prominent (i.e., 'big') nose; plus I wear glasses. This mask fits me well, and expands to cover my face from above the bridge of my nose to the point where my chin meets my neck (yes, I'm pleased to report that I still have a bit of chin/neck delineation at my advanced age). The mask when fully expanded is taller than it is wide, which is fine for me. The ties allow a secure, comfortable fit. The cloth is good quality, very soft and comfortable and allows adequate airflow.Solution for Glasses FoggingNow, my protruding schnozzola did create a bit of an air gap at the top of the mask which caused fogging of my glasses. Fortunately, I was able to implement an easy solution. I happened to have some soft 1/8" aluminum armature wire commonly used for creating forms for clay sculpting. I cut a length of this wire to ~5.5", which is almost equal to the width of the mask. I then used an awl to poke a hole in one end of the trim strip at the top of the mask and inserted the wire into it, pushing it all the way across the width of the mask inside the trim (see pic). I then bent the wire in the mask to conform to my nose and cheeks and now there is NO FOGGING. It's not even necessary to sew in or glue the wire in place. It stays snugly nestled inside the little trim strip just fine. And it is easily removed when it comes time to launder the mask. You can find a spool of armature wire here on Amazon or at an art/hobby supply store for under $10. The 1/8" diameter wire had the perfect balance of malleability and stiffness for this purpose.NOTE: I had considered buying some flat, adhesive-backed aluminum strips to use for this, but I'm glad I held off and used the armature wire instead. I think the aluminum strips may be a bit too wide to fit inside the trim and I can't imagine the adhesive would hold up too well if applied to the outside, whereas the 1/8" wire was just the right shape and size.SummarySo, half a star off for having to find a DIY solution to the nose strip/fogging problem, and another half star off for having to buy 48 of these things at one go (I mean, why not market these at five for $15 or ten for $20?). Still, at less than a buck per mask these are an excellent value; and to my tree-hugging, plastics-hating, penny-pinching self, reusable is preferable to disposable. Happily, with so many extra masks on hand now, I'll be able to passive-aggressively give them out to those domestic terr...er, brave freedom fighters I see going without in public places.Hope this helps with your decision. Keep well!

USE THE PRIME 7-DAY OPTION!
When I was a high school teacher I bought lots of team support and fund-raising t-shirts every year. The Gildans were always the best in fabric quality and shape retention. So . . . I sort of bought these masks without thinking too hard, even though the answered questions made it clear that the face covering width was 6.5 inches -- one tenth of an inch wider than the 48 disposable masks (I still have )from China that are just too small for me. I must have assumed that there would be some lateral stretch. Well, there isn't. I also was put off by the chemical odor when I opened them (which is probably from the silver treatment to prevent odors). Anyway, these "ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR RETURN," as I learned when I tried to return them. I would fault the company for the coy non-answers to the few questions about returns. Question on June 14: "Are these returnable if they don't fit?" Answer: "It fits most adults." Well, $40 dollars matters, but the best I can do here is find someone who can "use" 4 dozen small masks, and console myself with thoughts of my generosity. So use the Prime option, just in case, because Amazon will take them back but Gildan won't!
