Coils Up Constantly
I used this rope for several months before finally throwing it away. I was using it warm up or about 5 minutes before all of my workouts, usually 4-5 times per week. The rope worked perfectly fine for a minute or so (very well, in fact), but would always coil up. Every single time. I tried straightening it out several ways, but this problem persisted for months. I was spending more time adjusting the rope than using it, so I threw it away. Very disappointed.

Qualtiy rope
I'm an avid rope jumper and I've used literally dozens of different types of ropes.....PVC, beaded, cable wire, long handled, handles with bearings, non-bearings, heavy ropes....you name it, I've tried it. While ultimately your goals and purpose will dictate which rope is best for you, I feel for 95% of the population, a PVC speed rope like this one is the best overall rope. This is a really nice rope. The cord isn't overly stiff like a lot of cheaper ropes. The ball bearing handle is smooth turning so your arm won't fatigue prematurely. But the best part is the adjustability. While you can always get your rope to your best approximate length, the adjustable mechanism of this rope will allow you to precisely adjust it to your height and just as importantly your skill level. In general, the more advance you are, the shorter the cord you want as this will allow for faster efficient rotation. Beauty of this mechanism is that you can slowly shorten it as you get better. Tying knots in the rope limits how small the increments can be when you shorten it.The rope comes with easy to follow instructions to guide you through the initial set up (it's quite easy). One suggestion I can make is to sell replacement cords and the adjustable cord end pieces. It's unavoidable for a rope to break with frequent use, especially if you a lot of double (or triple) unders. If this cord does break, you can re-use the cord (if you leave an inch slack inside the handle, you won even lose length which is another positive of this rope). But replacement parts will still be a useful option as I like to have a few extra cords around.

Disappointed to say the least* REVISED
EDIT: I am keeping my original review up, but changing my rating. I will take pictures as proof tomorrow. I wrote my review quite some time ago. Today, on 09/30/17, I received a package in the mail from Limm. I want to clarify: I did NOT ask for a refund or a new item. They sent it to me out of their own goodwill. That is PROPER customer service and I am more than happy to reward that with a rating change. Thank you so much for the new jump rope -- I'll try NOT to break it this time!ORIGINAL: Used it once, the rope got caught on my foot, and the rope yanked out of the handle. Was a PITA to try to put back together, so I just called it a loss and tossed it in the trash. Disappointed to say the least.

Thank you LIMM
I am totally satisfied with this jump rope both with its performance and its price. The handles are the right weight, shape and texture. The rope has a 'springy' feel to it which facilitates whipping or fast revolutions. I had a cable-style jump rope from a different manufacturer before this and I find these LIMM ropes allow me to jump longer and log higher numbers of more difficult skips like double-unders. The plastic ropes are more forgiving than cable ropes; should you momentarily impede a rope turn with a clumsy skip and be on the receiving end of a whipping. Finally, if you have a bad habit of storing your jump ropes with the ropes coiled, these LIMM ropes straighten out more easily than cable-type ropes also stored coiled. This rope has put the fun back in my jump rope workouts.

5/5 stars for product 5/5 stars for customer service
As a personal trainer I need jump ropes that will stand the test of time and heavy usage and these fit the bill. I have used the two jump ropes i bought for a few weeks now with many different clients and the ropes held up great. The rope itself did not fray when used on rough concrete outside and the adjustments to the rope length are easily made and held inside the handles. On top of this the company emailed me to make sure I was happy with their product and sent me a PDF of exercises tips as well.

Really poor design
This is going to be sort of detailed so people know exactly what they are ordering. If you just want to use it as an adult jump rope, fine. If you just want to use it as a kid's jump rope, fine. The problem is with calling this adjustable. My hope was that myself and my 8yo could share this and just adjust it back and forth. The problem is that in order to make it fit a child his size, you have to stuff a bunch of the "rope" into the handles, which does nothing but make it all get tangled when he uses it because the bunching doesn't allow the "rope" to rotate in the handle like it needs to. The only way to make this function correctly for a child is to adjust it and then cut off the excess before reattaching the handle. Of course, then it's useless for an adult, so there's absolutely no way to use one rope for a child and an adult. Now, as for why I kept putting "rope" in quotes. This is NOT rope in any way. I'm not saying that the description says it is, but just note that it's made from a material that will HURT and even leave marks if you hit yourself with it. I speed rope and this thing occasionally tangles or wobbles mid-flight which will make it hit or catch on a foot or something and fly our of my hand. It hurts! Even my son won't try to use it because when it hits any part of him he cries. An actual rope doesn't feel great when you get hit with it, but this is like an actual whip. I cannot advise anyone to buy this.

Great jump rope
I'm brand new to jump ropes as an adult. I've been really impressed by this one. It is light and easy to swing, but has enough weight that I can feel it as it swings. The company that makes it was really nice and sent a few pdfs with tips that I found helpful.A few reviewers mentioned the cord binds too much like an old telephone cord. I had that problem because I didn't cut the excess cord after I first sized it for my height. Once I cut off the excess I've had no issues with the cord binding up.
