Something broke in the mechanism on my camper shell, so I had to replace the whole thing. This one is the newer version and works great. A little bit cleaner and sleeker looking than the old one as well.

Very easy to change out. Works even better than the original when new.

This product work well, but had to add washer to to back of glass window to insure glass would not be stressed

I have a LEER 100XL truck topper that the old style push button lock release is going bad on. This is the newer style and a drop in replacement. Ordered one, it came missing the 2 cables and the LEER logo that goes on the lock cover. Notified Amazon and they promptly sent a replacement exchange. The 2nd one had the same problem. Amazon referred me to the seller, LEER and provided me with their customer service website contact. You have to fill out a online form and wait on a response, no confirmation via email or anything. After a week, nothing. They do not have a phone number on their website (first red flag) nor does it list a company address for the parent company. Found a 800 number through some online searches. Called several times and get dumped into voicemail and told to leave my number so they can call me back. No call, no email, no nothing from LEER. I will probably keep the 2nd one as I still need to replace my lock. I can reuse the old cables and live without the LEER logo I guess. The cables and logo are in both the description and photos on the Amazon listing and in reviewer photos so this is clearly a LEER problem. Two thumbs up for Amazon as they were prompt and have offered to take even the 2nd one back. One big raspberry for LEER as they clearly have zero customer service unless you go through a local dealer - which begs the question why are they even selling on Amazon if they decline to support faulty products?????

Perfect fit for my Leer cap. I didn’t use all the parts since I had the original parts already installed. I just needed the tumbler since the original owner broke the key inside the locking mechanism. East install. Minimal time needed.

Do not need any of the old hardware with this new product. Remove old hardware and install all new hardware And it works great!
