Very cute and engaging
Love this book! Simple enough to not overwhelm a child, but engaging enough to hold their attention! As a travel addict, I love sharing the world with my children!

Adorable book
My 16 month old loves pointing to all the pictures and is learning a lot of words he wouldn’t have otherwise! “Bagel” and “Queen” are 2 of his new favorites

Geography and culture for little ones!
We love this board book that introduces geography and culture! Places included: New York City, Canada, Mexico, Peru, London, Paris, Egypt, Australia, China, Japan, and San Francisco. We love going through the individual pictures on each page and talking about their significance.I will agree with a previous reviewer that it is disappointing that Mexico and Peru don’t get a full spread like the other locations. However, the same reviewer said there were no African locations, which, as you can see from the list above, is incorrect. We would love to see another edition with even more locations!

We love this book!
My 17 month old LOVES this book!!! He enjoys telling me that New York City has "pizza" and that he wants to "go" to Lombard St. in San Francisco. Traveling families will adore this book!!!

Not diverse enough
Pro: This book is cute and my three-year old son really likes it.Con: We bought the book for the purpose of showing our son different countries and cultures and I am shocked that almost the entire book are Western locations with majority white populations (New York City, San Fransisco, Canada, Australia, London and Paris), nearly all of which are English speaking. There is not one African country (which makes no sense to me for a book about the world). Also, the only pages that are split are Mexico/Peru, as apparently neither could get their own spread (even though San Francisco got its own)! All in all, this book has a nice concept, but the execution is ethnocentric.
