A Great System
This is a very impressive system. The camera at the front of the house is a long way from the router and shows a poor wi-fi signal on the app but it works faultlessly with the same reliability and picture quality as one at the back with full signal (which is just outside the window near the router). Free cloud storage is a plus.I have now lived with it for a year or so and it has only gone up in my estimation. We had a nighttime incident where two young people came around at 3am and tried all the car doorhandles. Although quite a few of my neighbours have CCTV systems mine was the only one which highlighted it and they only found it on their (professionally installed) systems after I told them the exact time to look at. That says a lot in my view. The Eufy system couldn’t be easier to set up and it's completely wireless. The Eufy 2 cam is very good with nighttime colour (I started out with two of the Eufy 1 b&q cams) but I think the black and white is still slightly better quality for identification at night. I have also improved the detection range by mounting the camera lower down and at a shallower angle. The downside could be that it makes the camera more vulnerable to tampering but they have an anti theft alarm which rings on the phone app. I had builders working recently and being wireless, it was dead simple to move one of the camera's to cover a passageway which would be vulnerable while the doors and windows were being changed. I think it’s a fantastic system.

Great product, excellent customer service
I bought 2 EufyCam 2s (a bundle with the relevant Homebase) and an additional EufyCam 2C. I initially had an issue with the 2C in that it was intermittently glitching and, after I'd eliminated connection, positioning and interference issues, I contacted Eufy. The customer service I received from their Support Team was excellent and very prompt (this was the second time I contacted them on unrelated matters and both times the customer service was flawless). They really did go the extra mile, despite the Coronavirus lockdown, to ensure that I received a replacement immediately and I am pleased to say that all cameras are now up and running and everything is working well so far.The set up was extremely easy, and so far I am very pleased with the movement responses and pictures of all of the cameras. I did have to do some initial tweaks to the postions of the cameras to eliminate some bokeh to the picture at night but this was easily remedied by angling the camera down and away from the soffit slightly (I think it was caused by the LED bouncing off the soffit).I think Eufy is relatively new but they do seem to be making regular updates to the app to include new features as well as improving performance. I've only just scratched the surface with using the features within the app and haven't been using it for long, but it seems easy to use and intuitive. Features in the app include a smart detection feature which mentions human detection, facial detection, facial recognition, pet detection and crying detection - I haven't explored these yet so can't comment in detail except to say that I have one of the cameras set on the highest sensitivity setting and, as well as capturing all human, vehicle and other big movement, it has captured an inquisitive bee and tree sparrow that flew near the camera, and a pine marten(!) and a cat (both at night) that passed the camera at ground level about 20ft away. A close up screen shot of the face of a human visitor is included with the relevant footage, although the faces can be a bit blurry. The geofencing feature is useful as you can draw the areas you want to monitor (so, for example, I've drawn an area that excludes the bit around the outlet to my boiler otherwise the movement of the steam sets the camera off, and I've also excluded a couple of bushes that move when it's windy otherwise they set it off). Everything that is captured can be stored on the homebase rather than in the cloud so there is no need for extra cloud subscriptions if you don't want them (although it looks like that option is also on there if you want it). There are various alarm settings to choose from (home, away, disarmed, geofencing, schedule and you can also create a custom one). There's also a snooze feature which is very useful if the cameras are armed but you need to pop past the camera for a short time (perhaps useful if you have forgotten to let the dog out or put the bin out and don't want to mess around with changing the alarm settings).Alexa integration is basic and in beta at the moment (there's also Google Assistant and Homekit integration but I can't comment on those as I don't use them) so I look forward to more Alexa/IFTTT integration features in the future. For example, I'd like Alexa to tell me that a camera has been triggered (at the moment I can only get a notification chime which I keep missing) and I'd also like to be able to arm and disarm by voice so that I don't have to mess around in the app when I'm going out the door with an armful of stuff. I'm sure this will come later (especially as it was advertised on earlier packaging and docs) and this would make the whole thing perfect for my needs. So overall, I'm extremely pleased with the kit (more Alexa/IFTTT integration would make it perfect), and given my previous experience of their Support Team I am completely confident that if I have another query or issue it will be sorted promptly and efficiently. We need more companies like this one who take customer service really seriously and don't just sell a product and run.

I like it but battery not as good as advertisedd
It's a decent camera for the price but on a busy street with a lot of movement the battery only lasted around 6wks befor a charge was needed whereas my backyard where motion is less frequent charge needed less often. I have 2 cameras scanning a constant distance of around 30m if a person is detected on the 1st camera then sometimes the 2nd doesn't pick them up as they pass from camera 1 thru to camera 2. Also the cameras don't always follow the motion till the end and stop short on the recording. Eufy tried to help but to many hoops to jump through for a fix. The system is easy to set up and clarity good so although the previous gripe, it works relatively well and will do a pretty good job.

Brilliant little camera.
This is a great addition to my eufy system, I managed to snag it on prime day so got a good deal on the price.I now have a total of four cameras, three of which came as a bundle with the hub and now this later addition to the system which joined the others seamlessly, with all the work being done for me and the process completed in seconds. The camera is small and discreet, it doesn’t draw attention to itself in any way and is easy to overlook during the daytime. At night time if you choose the colour picture option the lights do make it t you are being recorded. The picture quality is good, you can make out facial features well and can easily recognise someone on the video/ pictures this takes. The battery life is good, on the lowest settings you will probably get the six months claimed by the manufacturer but with normal use it will not make six months on a single charge, it will probably last 3/4 months though. A solar panel is available for the camera and I highly recommend getting one to keep it charged with no effort on your behalf.Fitting is easy and being wireless can be anywhere it is needed, regardless of a power source. It can be angled to suit the area you want covered and then locked in place. You will need a drill for fitting. I would advise fitting it as high up as possible for two reasons, firstly you cove a larger area and secondly because it can be removed from its fixture to enable you to bring it inside to charge so sticky fingers can remove it too.
