Real quick , Klein is a proven company . The quality you get far exceeds the price you pay. Its display is easy to read at odd angles ( I’m an automotive tech and we specialize in hybrid and electric vehicles as well as todays complicated electronics on conventional vehicles) . The insulation test is accurate and the ranges measured by this meter are perfect for automotive by all means . THE LEADS ARE EXCEEDINGLY ROBUST . CAT 3 CAT4 safe . It is just a bit bulky but not an issue in my field . I prefer it over my FLUKE insulation tester by far . Costing hundreds of dollars less than the fluke with same accuracy and BETTER display . It also serves as a redundant DVOM . Buy it !

Great, reasonably priced meter. 1kv megger, true RMS, resistivity, continuity, 1kv tester all in one package. A bit on the heavy side, but has a nice rear angled support.

Used this mega meter to diagnose a P0AA6 high voltage isolation fault on my Toyota Prius. Works great and the price is cheap compared to other Snap On or Fluke meters.

Easy to use. Quickly test electric motor windings troubleshooting or testing new motors before installation. Why pay $1000 more for Fluke.
