Spudz Microfiber Cloth: Handy, compact, and does the job...
This Spudz Microfiber Cloth in Black Pouch is a good example of a handy product that belongs in the camera bag (or on the camera strap) of anyone who has a camera and wants to keep its LCD viewfinder clean. It's small and unobtrusive enough to just clip it to your camera strap, keeping it handy for the event that your lens or the viewing screen of your camera needs a simple cleaning. These can be found under a number of brand names, including as the Nikon Microfiber Cleaning Cloth, but either will do the job. This handy microfiber cloth has its own little clip-on pouch for storage, which keeps it relatively clean. It's perfect for whipping out and cleaning off residual dust or even rain spots from the LCD screen of just about any digital camera made. It works in the field with binoculars as well. From personal experience, I might suggest using one of the LensPen products on the lens itself, and using this cloth on the LCD itself. When it gets dirty or seems to lose its effectiveness, just throw it into the washing machine, then hang it up to dry, and the microfiber cloth is ready to be used again. Have a spare one that stays in my pocket just to clean my glasses, and though the case is now a bit faded from repeated washing, it's still a highly-effective cleaning cloth... perfect for the task at hand.Used in conjunction with the LensPen NLP-1, you'll have the perfect combination for keeping the crud off of your camera, regardless of the brand or model. Highly recommended, and it's good if you have a basic digital compact or an advanced DSLR.9/15/2012

Super convenient
I have owned basically all the galaxy fold phones now and before they made them fold flush, I would store a cut lens cleaning cloth in between the screens. Since they have been making them much more flush, I have had to carry an extra cleaning cloth around when the inner screen gets all smudgy (I work maintenance, hands get dirty fast)This has been the perfect solution for my phone, shades, rifle scopes, infotainment on my car and even in pinches for tvs and some glass. Just hangs out on my keys till I need it. Brilliant.

A neat, useful idea
I've been using these for years and they are a great help in some situations. They do a great job of removing finger smudges and smears, and can be used with lens cleaning fluid (applied to the cloth) for more stubborn crud. The cloth is not absorbent enough to remove alot of water, so I sometimes carry a paper napkin as a blotter. I use them on my binoculars, spotting scopes and cameras. There are obvious cautions: if there is any dust or grit that might be abrasive on the lens, rubbing with anything is a very bad idea. I do use the cloth in the field to kind of brush or lift such dirt very carefully. A brush would be much better but of course I never carry one. Once you have done that, it is necessary to clean the cloth before using again, however. I unclip the bag and put it in my pocket to remind myself to clean the cloth. Sometimes dust can just be brushed away by hand. Best idea is a thorough rinsing, and that's why a 4 star rating instead of 5. The cloth is sewn into the bottom of the bag, making it impossible to clean as well as I would like. Some sort of clip retainer would make cleaning much easier. As it is, the bag can be turned inside out to facilitate cleaning. I know many people (including me) sometimes go a long time between cleaning, and at some point the crud imbedded in the cloth will reduce cleaning effectiveness and increase danger of scratching. Overall, a convenient way to clean lenses in the field with minimum danger of damage.

Small and useful
Got it for my bf since his job fogs up his glasses often. He attached it to his keychain and loves it! Not too chunky to get in the way and works well.

Daily uses
I work in a machine shop and wear my protective lenses all day everyday. This little thing gets daily use multiple times a day sometimes.I didn't know if I would use it a lot until I got it. It's a great thing to have on your lunch box or on your backpack. It stays out of the way until I need it.Something I found helpful was the cloth is stiched into the pocket so It wont just drop out and disappear. I like this feature a lot because I usually toss my bag around a bit and it could easy be lost if it were not sewn in.

but that is not a good thing, a bit of the cloth inevitably hangs ...
Bag is tough with hardly any elasticity to it so it is difficult to shove the cloth back into the bag. When you finally jam it in there it is not flat, it is round. That can make it a pain to have on your key chain because it bulges when it is in your pocket. Again as mentioned it is a tight fit, but that is not a good thing, a bit of the cloth inevitably hangs out of the bag and then when you grab your keys out of your pocket you drag it with your hand or something inevitably happens where the cloth is pulled out of the bag again, even a little. And once it starts to come out a little then the rest of it quickly ends up hanging out. Then you have to jam it back in. The cloth itself cleans well, clip seems okay. These are not generic gripes, this is the third microfiber cloth in pouch setup that I have owned, all of them from different manufacturers. The one from Sony that came with my camera was the best, just enough stretchiness to let you get the cloth in easily and then hold it in place. More flat than round, small tough clip. This on is just so-so by comparison. But it does get the job done, from cleaning my glasses to cleaning a camera lens it always helps to have one of these close at hand.
