The side clamping speaker wall mount is designed for traditional wood cabinet bookshelf style speakers and monitor speakers that were not provided with a standard mounting point by the manufacturer. The mount features a solid platform with adjustable side clamps. The mount swivels 180 degree right to left with up to 10 degree tilt. The heavy duty steel construction can support a speaker 5.5 to 12” wide, up to 13 deep and a maximum weight of 40 lbs. The side clamps feature specialized non-marking, non-slip isolation pads to provide a safe and secure contact point for the speaker. Each mount comes with a decorative back plate cover to conceal mounting screws and offers an opening to route the speaker wire for clean installation. Manual and mounting hardware is included. Sold as a pair for mounting 2 speakers. (Speaker not Included)

These wall mount brackets ended up being a great buy. They're....
These wall mount brackets ended up being a great buy. They're very sturdy, they were easy to install, and can carry a substantial load. I installed two Mission speakers that are heavy for their size, and these brackets handled them with ease. The socket head of the bolts are metric (10mm), and the Nylon lined nut for the swivel platform is Standard 1/2 inch. The latter was probably done by the manufacturer just to mess with you. Standardizing the heads would be a good idea however. I suggest to pull on the cap that fits under the swivel base before tightening it into place, as this would allow for the rubber cap that fits over the nut to fit properly. I took a picture of where the gap needs to be with a flat screwdriver pointing toward the area. I am pleased with my purchase, and will recommend this product without reservation.I've tried to upload pictures associated to my review on three occasions now, but to no prevail. I am devastated about it. I'll try again on a later date.

Decent for smaller speakers, but not for depths greater than 10"
Setting up a 7.1 system, so bought 3 pairs of these stands. Worked well for 2 sets of my smaller speakers (both around 25 pounds), the width adjustments worked and the speakers feel secure (using one set screw apiece). Only criticism was the tilt adjustment, which was a bit rough; hard to get right and tended to shift as I was tightening. Still would have given it 4 stars for these speakers, as ultimately I got them to work and it was sturdy. However my last set of speakers, which are within the specified range (32 pounds, 10" wide, and 11.8" deep) did not work. The issue was the depth of the speakers, exacerbated by the extra room needed behind the speakers for fat speaker wires. The critical dimension is the balance point of 5.25" (non-adjustable depth from the back of the speaker stand to the center of the tilt-swivel screw). So if your speaker is 10" deep or less, everything should be OK. But for deeper speakers (and they claim to support 13" deep) the mass of the speaker is beyond the balance point.Using the stands with my largest speakers resulted in unacceptable wobbling, and it was impossible to level front-to-back (side-to-side was still OK), Worse still, the speakers eventually tilted forward to the maximum extent permitted by the stand, and I was unable to get them even approximately level because of the poor tilt adjustment. At least the speakers did not fall out, testament to the set screw and side-clamping design.

Happy with the purchase, just not ecstatic
I wish I could give 4.5 stars. These mounts work well and are more or less as advertised. I do wish they would hold their position a bit better and had a better way of holding the speaker, but otherwise they work as expected. I took the advise of another reviewer and used 2 sided tape to hold the speakers in place instead of screwing into the speaker box as I feel that much better for the speaker and probably just as secure. I do like how easier they speakers were to mount to the wall and that they they are very sturdy and support a fairly large speakers. The matte black is also a good look. So these are very good mounts, but not great in my opinion.

Great speaker brackets hold large speakers, are easy to install and adjust
These are really high-quality, easy to install and adjust, and look great. They hold two largish speakers on either side of my new wall-mounted AV monitor, and there is no unpleasant resonance or vibration.

Superb Brackets!
Great brackets! Supported my Polk TSI 200 Book Shelf speakers without a hitch... Between the gripping force of the clamp and the supplied self adhesive rubber pads I did not have to run screws into my Speakers. I would buy again without hesitation. Great product!

Pro Audio people... XLR plugs to big for plastic face plate.
If you are going to use XLR connections to the speakers, the XLR plug will not fit through the plastic face plate. You will need to idea razor blade or dremmel to carve a bigger hole. Not a big deal, but a tad inconvenient.

They seem very sturdy. They hold my Klipsch bookshelves
They seem very sturdy. They hold my Klipsch bookshelves. I would advise drilling decent pilot holes or you will break the screw heads off.
