I found a great foul weather set
Now that I've had the set for a few days, let me add some information not found elsewhere. This is for a size LARGE jacket and pants. The jacket:I like the finish. The stitching is straight and neat; between 7-8 stitches per inch using a synthetic thread. The stitching is neatly trimmed.and finished. All zippers are nylon YKK-brand and all have pull tabs on them. The fabric is a nylon-based, layered fabric with a perforated nylon taffeta lining. The sleeves and collar has a 3M retroreflective piping. There are patches of retroreflective plastic material on the sleeves, shoulders, and on top of the hood. The jacket sleeves are sewn from multiple pieces that allow for the natural bending of the elbows. The lower sleeve has a 1.5" wide Velcro adjustment band. Inside the sleeves are sewn in neoprene-based cuffs that have 1-1/8" wide Velcro tightener. The sleeves seal to the wrist very well. There are two outer pockets on the jacket; both have zipper closures with pull tabs. There is an inner pocket for a wallet inside the jacket on the left side that measures 8-1/2" high by 7" deep and has a zipper closure. The neck seal on the jacket (when the collar is turned up) measures 4" tall. There is a Velcro patch to seal the neck that measure 2-3/4" wide x 3-3/4" tall. It seals around my neck very well. The collar is lined with a soft, fuzzy (sorry, that's the only word I could think of) material to prevent chafing around the neck. On the back of the collar is a safety yellow cloth hood, made from the same material as the jacket. It has a stripe of retroreflective material 6" long by 1" wide that wraps up over the top of the crown of your head. it has a nylon shock cord tensioner in the brow. It folds up into the back of the collar and is held in by three Velcro tabs. The front of the jacket has a storm seal that overlaps the zipper by at least 1-1/2" and is sealed down the front with a strip of 3/4" wide Velcro. The seal is amazingly straight, and the fit of the two overlapping pieces is very accurate (there are no bulges or mismatches in how the fabric overlaps). There is a hanging strap sewn into the jacket just below the collar to allow hanging from a hook. There is a white patch to write your name into the jacket on the inside. I also weighed the jacket on my kitchen scale; 2 lbs 8 oz for a size large. The pants:Same outer material as the jacket, but with a smooth (non-perforated) nylon taffeta lining. There is a large YKK double ended zipper, with an outer fabric storm flap in the front, though I'm not sure I will ever use the opening from the bottom as there is a inner flap sewn across the front of the pants that prevents one from using that opening for personal "relief." You need to go "over the top" of that flap for that purpose. There are Cordura fabric reinforcements sewn onto the pants' seat and knees. The knee reinforcements appear well placed (I have a 30" in-seam and they hit about in the middle of my knees). The pants have 1-1/2" elastic suspenders. By keeping them snug, I have no problem with the pants' 31-32" in-seam with my 30" in-seam body. The pants are about right in the seat; not too loose, not too tight, and i practiced getting up and down to see if there was any binding (like getting up and down from the rail, or bending on a headsail). No issues for me. The pant legs had a Velcro adjuster so you can seal the leg around your ankles or boots. There is a single front pocket on the upper right thigh. It measures 9" tall by 7-1/2" wide. It has a fold-over flap seal at the top that uses a Velcro closure. There is a plastic key holder loop sewn into the top of this pocket. There is a hanging loop on the back of the pants, and a place to write your name inside. The pants weigh 1 lb 15.5 oz.Bottom line: I am very pleased with the fit, finish, and quality of this Navis foul weather set. I did have my neighbor help me test it; he held the garden hose and sprayed me down while I was wearing the pants and jacket. As expected, no water got through.

Cheap option
I ordered a set of jacket/bibs based on the reviews, but I am disappointed with what I see. The bibs lack the ability to tighten at the waste and have flimsy chest straps. The set lacks features and refinement of known brands e.g. Gill, Slam, HH etc. The quality feels similar to West Marine generic brand. I would strongly encourage you to save your money, spend a little more and get a product that will last you a lifetime. I am sending back since Gill is CLEARLY better for a $150 more dollars. Nothing is worse than being wet and cold on the water.

Pretty good
Purchased primarily for fishing on a boat as the weather gets colder and wetter in the fall and winter. Jacket has a fleece liner that can be removed and used separately, Bib does not have a liner. No inner pocket when fleece is installed. Only a single pocket on the leg of the bib, no inner storage. straps do not have clips and fastener kept coming loose on my first use. access to crotch area without taking Bib or jacket off is possible. Jacket pockets are small for my hands, pockets are warm, a few D rings hang off jacket are nice to clip handy things to like fishing pliers or a rag. Set is pretty waterproof, I will get a better test on that today when its raining hard but boat spray is no problem for this set. All in all its a decent set that won't break the bank. The issues I have are the straps on the bib have a poor design (needed to find a better way to secure), pockets are a bit small for my hands (XL large glove size) i like to put a hand warmer in so I have a toastie pocket, not enough room for anything else. Single stitching throughout, durability over time is questionable, likey repairs on seams and zippers will be needed. Pros. Price is right, half the cost of comparable units, waterproofing is good. cold weather support is good jacket is warm. integrated hood has a brim, pockets have good strong velcro closures for access with gloves on. ability to use the bathroom without disrobing a huge plus.

Really fantastic product - light weather!
Know what you are buying! I read a lot of reviews and had some doubts, but this suit was PERFECT in every way. I'm 6'0" and 225lbs (slight paunch) and the Large fit perfect and plenty of room for undergarments/long underwear and will provide easy of movement. Everything about these (bibs and jacket) is perfect- for light rain weather! This is a light-weight suit, it is exactly what I wanted. I will be using this for 3 season sailing in the Pacific Northwest inland/coastal. I have no plans to take this bigtime offshore/blue water or very heavy rain/rough weather, it was not designed for that. But for those frequent light rain bursts, infrequent waves, this is perfect. What I love most, all the cuffs on arms/hands and pants cuff tight to the wrist/ankles when adjusted with very forgiving velcro (smartly designed). Yet the remaining limbs and especially my chest are completely free and unencombered - so there is ample room inside for my body to move quickly, and I won't be hampered by the clothing but I will be kept dry. Can't recommend it enough, I shopped very heavily on Gill, Western Marine and lots of other products, but this can't be beat for the price. I'm going to sail with the suit a few times, then rush back and by 2 more for my wife and son after testing, but I'm confident the quality looks great, and they really knew what they were doing with the design. Great job Navis Marine.

Fits me I'm 5'7 175 bls size 33 waist
I like that they show the measurement for the size of the person for which this prooduct is intended for. I'm 5'7 and the size M fits me fine. Not too lose not too tight when I wear sweatpants under them. I work outside in the rain in Seattle. It's not too cold here so I didn't get the insulated one. The material is way lighter than the Carthartt's Shoreman bibbs.

Great suit but terrible hood
Worked really well, sailed from Baltimore to Savannah in very cold weather, added a few layers and was good to go. My only gripe is the hood is worthless, the draw string is oddly placed and it's not a good fit. The little bill is pointless and serves no purpose.Otherwise the suit kept me warm and dry!

Not waterproof. Shower proof only
Very disappointed.Work in the garden industry, read reviews and decided to order two pairs.I can confirm that both the guys wearing these were wet through after one day.I myself wore Gil products and remained dry.Hate to put a product down but don’t want anyone whose expectations are to keep dry after all day of rain.Shower yes, long day rain no.

FANTASTIC BUY!! GREAT VALUE!!
This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. The sizing charts were quite confusing but I took a chance and the sizes are equivalent to Canadian/ US sizing. Great value, product seems really well made, fits perfectly and I saved about $775.00 on similar gear priced here. There were similar items for cheaper in different colours but I went with the more expensive 'Offshore Select' jacket and pants package. The product comes from Hong Kong and I selected express shipping for only $12.00. The package arrived in only a few business days. Very happy......start the car!!! I fell like I stole the equipment!!! fantastic!!
