Ito-en is by far the most high quality and rich tasting matcha I’ve ever had for the best price. A bag lasts me 5 months (I use 1 and 1/2 tsp per latte)! The color is vibrant and taste is super strong. Plus, it’s unsweetened!If you are a daily matcha drinker, this will be your BEST option on Amazon. I wouldn’t recommend anything else.

This is my favorite matcha powder for lattes. There are a lot of options and I've tried quite a few but I keep coming back to this as the right combination of quality and price.1. The texture isn't grainy and stays suspended in the latte without sinking to the bottom. It feels smooth and is easy to incorporate into drinks with a milk frother2. The color is a vibrant green that looks both visually appealing and is an indicator of good quality3. The taste is genuinely excellent for the price. There is no bitterness aftertaste as far as I can tell (this might be different if you are drinking plain matcha without milk) and you can easily get a strong matcha flavor without using a ton of the powder.4. The quality appears to be consistent (in the powder itself, not necessarily the packaging). I've gotten 4 of the 2 oz packets and they all have the same good qualities. One of them did explode during transport and it was kind of annoying to be cleaning matcha powder out of my carpet for a week, but I was sent a replacement for the broken packet without issue.If you're looking for matcha for drinks that is smooth, tastes good, and is at a decent price, this is the product I'd recommend.

Tried the Sweetened Ito En Matcha for the very first time trying matcha, was already better quality than your average café. Now trying out the unsweetened version, same great quality. I’m happy with the fairly bright green colour, neither version is gritty, it has a grassy aroma with a more subtle flavour- the best part being no bitter aftertaste (when prepared properly.)Will update further as I continue to use it and test it out in various applications.

This is an absolute bang for your buck matcha if you're looking for something that's high quality and looks great in your glass but doesn't break the bank! It's so rich and vibrant! Seriously

The large bag of unsweetened matcha is hands down the absolute best deal you can find. I’m picky with matcha and the taste is good, color is vibrant/fresh. I bought it SIX months ago and it lasted me. I’m only just now placing another order. Keep your matcha sealed and in the FRIDGE. Other matcha powders will be $20 for only 2oz or less and it’s gone in a month. This costs me ~$7 per month to have matcha almost everyday. Always buying this.

I have been buying this brand of Matcha for years. I loved it! I had tried so many brands to find the one I most liked. I ordered it in December for Christmas gifts for a few people that love Matcha. I also ordered myself two bags at the same time as the price was good. When I was finishing my current bag of Ito En Matcha, I got my next bag out to refill my tin that I keep my daily matcha in. As soon as I opened the bag I could tell that the color was wrong. The smell was wrong. I made a cup and the flavor was wrong. I consider this to be false advertising/fraud and am going to try to pursue a refund. It is wrong to change a product and not let the customer know they are not getting the quality they have in the past!
