Loom was very easy to use, great size to do on your lap, great quality wood and material.

it is incredibly well made for the price, but you do get what you pay for. If you invest some time you can make a nice little loom for yourself. If not, you have a great beginners loom. it comes with some low quality yarn, but that is nice to mess around with until you familiarize yourself with the unit (without having to sacrifice your higher quality yarn). Most of my complaints get down to practice, which is my problem not the looms. It would be nice if it had a poly finish or something, which is part of the reason I took stars off, I don't see being able to use it long term because of the rough wood. But it is excellent if you just want to give weaving a try, just know that any frustration you encounter is that you are getting the bare bones for a very fair price. so take into account how much of a "frustration factor" you are willing to put in to save a few bucks.

I purchased this item as a gift for a friend. Unfortunately, there were NO instructions included; not how to assemble or how to Weave on the Loom. Unless you already know how to assemble and then weave I would not recommend purchasing this item.

This little loom is pretty good for beginners. There are several things that are kind annoying in my experience. The tension is kind of a struggle to figure out at first. I had to figure this out on my own and play with the yarn tensions so they don’t pop out from the top or bottom. There’s no instructions on how to use this product. The yarns provided are super random colors. Luckily these downfalls are easily fixed. I watched several YouTube videos on how to weave and I purchased my own yarn. I also recommend getting some yarn needles and a crochet hook as well which is nice and sturdy to pull the yarn and finish off your weaves. Tapestries on West Elm retail for about $65+ for comparable sized wall hangings so from that perspective this is a great value.

Product arrived used in an open box, what a disappointment. Frame itself was sturdy and good quality.

This poor quality. The heddle bar slots spacing does not match those on either en of the frame. The description says it made from beech, it looks like pine, or a very low grade beech.

This is a good loom for beginners. Easy to use I m on my second project.
