I was pleasantly surprised. They are very well made. Heavy! That’s how you know. They are very sharp- easy to handle- doesnt slip out of your hands- did I mention heavy? They have substance to it. That’s important for me. Just buy it! They are awesome! Anything at the drug store or any store doesn’t compare. It’s like having a Porsche or a Honda.

These are perfect. I honestly can't believe the current price. I needed to replace ancient ones that finally fell apart. You get three, and each is different. They're weighty and solid. The case they come in is very nice. The gripper on the back is not a nail file, FYI; it's to keep your thumb/finger from slipping while you press down. My old pair was so annoying about that very issue.Also, I rarely review things. If I do, it's because a product is either horrible or incredible. These are incredible. So I would highly recommend them. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk.

THIS IS A VERY NICE SET, AND BONUS POINTS FOR A GREAT CASE IN WHICH TO STORE THE CLIPPERS. THESE FEEL SOLID, AND THEY ARE VERY SHARP ! THESE REPLACED THE CLIPPERS I HAD THAT GOT LEFT ON SINK FROM TIME TO TIME AND EVENTUALLY GOT RUSTY, WHICH IS WHY I SPECIFICALLY SEARCHED FOR A SET WITH STORAGE. WOULD RECOMMEND !

High quality metal and sharp. Hardly any filing needed to smooth edges. Great value. Above all, ease of use is excellent.

Update on 4/30/24:I've had this clipper set for almost 3 years and recently one of clippers' bottom "bolt" piece partially broke, so now that section feels rough and a bit sharp.Purely Northwest "claims" in the description section of this product that their clippers have "lifetime" warranty and that they will replace clippers if needed. So, I went to their site to ask for one replacement clipper. But their site just kept asking me to prove I'm "not a robot" by clicking on the appropriate pictures, and each time I finished, their response was that my answers were "wrong" and I was required to do the "test" over again. I did the test SEVERAL times but they never accepted my responses, and never allowed me to ask for replacement.So if your decision to buy their clippers is partly for their so-called lifetime warranty, don't count on that.__________My initial review (bought this in 2021) rating was at least 3+ stars:The slanted clippers and the fingernail clippers cut pretty well, and they have a good heft (weight) to them.The blades line up, which I prefer. (Some other clippers "malposition" their cutting blades, but I find this malposition makes my fingernails feel thinner and sharp.)But, the metal blade area is too polished and highly reflective; when it catches the light, it glares in your eyes, making it dangerously hard to see where you are cutting.The file component seems to file well, but then later on, my fingernails will feel sharp, like knives, for some reason! I try not to use the file.I don't use the big toenail clippers in this set, so can't comment on them.

It is helpful to have reviews when looking for products... Having many health issues it is nice, when you can find things to help, improve your life. This can be one of them. As with any thing you have your Pros and Cons. As a 1 st review, I will need to return later... with more detail. For now to start off, I am happy to find the product. It comes nicely packaged, in its own case. A draw back, as someone highly sensitive to smells and chemicals ... I would suggest for someone, else to open and wash the products (if you are too) and for the company to find another lower smelling foam. I was able to handle it but, that would be a suggestion for those of us who are sensitive. Another concern I would have is anyone with children under 3 years old etc. not leave these in their reach. The specially angled trimmer, is especially pointy. Due to my other non-related health issues, I have not used them as frequently (as normal), but currently very happy with design and durability. My new go to set, when I can address more my nails verse, many other health needs. This set is very nice. I like how they work. They appear like they will last a long time and they state they have a Lifetime replacement warranty! Price for the 3 + case & Prime two day was reasonable.

I've been looking for a set of clippers of this quality for many years, everything else I've bought since I lost my old German-made "gentlemen's personal care kit" in a house fire has been nearly worthless. The icing on the cake is the angled clipper, even the most evasive hangnail can't escape it.
