I use these and chopsticks as my usual eating utensils and they are perfect. They last a few years in daily use and are excellent for avoiding metal utensils, and for keeping me from burning my mouth on a hot metal spoon. They hold plenty for a good slurp. I would not cook with them though.

The spoons were delivered in a timely manner and are in perfect shape. Quite pretty and very light in weight. I use these kinds of spoons for stirring the grounds and water in my French press. I will experiment to see what else I can use them for. I deducted a star from my rating, however, because I received 5 spoons—not 6, as stated in the description.

I read that its best to use wooden spoons with honey, so I bought smaller spoons. Then I thought it would be great to have some for food at work, too. Better than metal, I believe.So, I bought these. They are like big, deep soup spoons but they work well and I love them. I manually wash them off. They are easier to clean than metal spoons.I was worried about the stain on the spoons, wondering if that would be ok to eat with - but so far I do not see any fading, chipping, or anything that would lead me to believe they are giving off some bad chemical.

These exceeded my expectations. They have a nice smooth finish that makes cleaning really easy and they are comfortable to hold. Very nice to use for soups, and I've also used them for serving smaller side dishes like rice.
