La Redoute Aigle Little Boys Wellington Boots

I live in the country and need a good pair of muck boots. Muck boots are pretty expensive for a good pair so I thought I'd look at rain boots. Women's leisure ware and rain gear is usually more expensive than boy's and men's so I headed over to the boy's section. I'm a size 7 so boy's size would be a 5. I ordered a 5-1/2 which I'm glad I did. I recommend that you go up at least a 1/2 size and if you wear thick socks I'd go up a full size.These looked really good and when I got them I was very pleased with the way they look. The rubber is nice and thick. AND it's real rubber, not latex or whatever. I put them on and headed down to my creek. Sooo nice to have these out on the muddy wet water. They were great, the fit was good, and they didn't slip on my heel or in the toe box.Highly recommend

My daughter has a high instep and a slim calf, perfect boot! This is her 4th pair of this brand of rain boots. They are very durable and stylish at the same time. Worth the extra dollars.

Fabulous as usual although because they're higher than the toddler boots, they seem to fit a big more snugly. I love how flexible they are. My kids can really play in these!

I am an adult and usually wear a size eu37/uk4 but having switched to barefoot shoes in the last 2 years my feet have begun to spread. I saw these wellies on happylittlesoles while purchasing shoes for my children and made a mental note to buy them whenever my current wellies got worn out. By chance, my hunter gloss wellies then happened to develop a crack at the toe box just last week and so I replaced them with the aigle lolly pop wellies. My hunters were 5 years old by the way, so I was expecting them to last another few years.The aigle boots are considerably lighter at just under 500g each, compared to 850g for my hunters, they are also noticably wider in the toebox and the construction is very flexible. The sole is thinner and flatter than standard wellies, and though not truly barefoot, they come close enough. I chose a size 5 because I now find size 4 too narrow in the toe box, and these wellies fit very well while still having room for warm wool socks. I just hope they will last me many years.

I bought this after reading recommendations that these were barefoot friendly shoes. I found that the sole is very thick and not very flexible. There is quite a prominent heel rise, limiting sensory input from the ground, so not zero drop at all. I loved the colour and that they are quite lovely looking, but not minimalist as I'd like.

Our school asked parents to buy dark navy blue wellies to match the uniform and so these boots fit the bill. My daughter loves them, so I have bought several in consecutive sizes. Her younger brother will get them as hand-me-downs. The boots are easy to clean, rather stylish, and can be labelled easily. I’m an Aigle fan myself for adult wellies.

These are almost definitely fake. The logo is different and the sizing details are different from the originals I have and they just aren't as well made. Very disappointed. Now I can't even get a refund because I'm not able to go somewhere to return them at the moment.

Very cute. Arrived on time. Foot size was about right, plenty of room for warm socks but -very- slim in the legs. Couldn’t even get them up past my ankles. I do have wide calves but I would say these will be snug on even normal calves.
