Alter EcoDark Chocolate Bars | Pure Dark Cocoa, Fair Trade, Organic, Non-GMO, Gluten Free (12-Pack Brown Butter)

About a year ago my sister sent me a pack of the 70% dark, brown butter bars as a gift, and now I'm hopelessly hooked on it. Every night I have 2 squares with a big steaming cup of tea. After having tried this, I can't eat anything else. It has spoiled me against chocolate now and forever. You can tell this is great chocolate by the fact that even among people who rated it poorly, almost everyone did so for reasons other than the quality, but for things like shipping delays, or getting the wrong product, etc... It may be a bit more expensive than other dark chocolate, but it's worth every penny. The fact that they produce it in a sustainable, eco-friendly way is all the more reason to pay a little more. If anything, I feel like this chocolate is under-priced.

There was no way of knowing the expiration of these chocolate bars so when I got two boxes of 12 and saw that the expiration date was in a month, I felt frustrated. They weren’t as fresh as I hoped and I won’t be able to eat all 24 before they expire.

This chocolate is delicious but should have been delivered on ice. That is how it was delivered when ordered direct from alter Eco

It’s merely so-so. I don’t really discern a distinctive brown butter influence.

I'm not a big fan of dark chocolate, but I do like the fact that it is a healthy alternative to all those sugar-laden, chemicalized bars containing preservatives and soy. I like to put just a little bit in my mouth and let it melt. Mmmm.

This is the most yummy dark chocolate bar. I am on Keto and can only have a little bit but it is my chocolate fix for sure. It is so good, try it - you’ll see‼️ I split this case with a friend who loves it too.
