Well made locks
Seems to be well made. Easy to set combination.

Very nice lock
I have used this lock and other versions for years and this seems to be some improvement. Very soft and smooth clasp and dial operation. However be aware that unlike EVERY OTHER lock on market including master, the line for comination is not on middle of lock, but at top, so you have to get used to it. Also the rubber parts fell off immediately upon receipt (rubber gasket around lock, and rubber cover to combo.

Must be locked in order to 'zero' out the numbers! That is really far from secure.
This lock is good and robust; however, you cannot 'zero' out the lock while it is open. That is a major security breach in my opinion. This lock will be in the back of our lot, not on the front gate as intended.

Historically good product; but quality has diminished
I have been using this style Master lock for 15 years on outdoor applications. Probably purchased eight of these during that time. The lock mechanism has a mixed durability record. I suspect the manufacturer is using lower quality materials as my more recent purchases have rusted much faster, despite moving to a dryer climate. It is probably still the best lock for the specific features I require. Wish there was a better option.

Changing combination
The combination will randomly change. Causing me to have to cut the lock after the third time it happen

Holds up well in harsh midwest weather
I am using this outdoors all year long in the midwest (northern illinois) and it has surved the hot summer days and cold snowy and wet winters. No signs of wear or locking up. The rubber cover for the dials do a good job of keeping the number dials clean and usable.Ability to set or change code is a great feature.Pros- holding up well in hot summers and cold winters- long enough to fit fence latch- no signs of dials locking upCons- rubber cover for dials can fall off at times but is easy to put back on.
