Air tight solid product
Excellent design, occupies least space for such a big container.Could be a bit more stronger and tougher for the quantity, nevertheless an excellent product for the longrun.

Hi, I'm writing review after using it for 5 years ..very sturdy, protection against pests,best to store rice n pantry...I have 3 containers ,still I'm using it...

Best Quality
I have been thinking to buy this for years. Finally decided to do but was still hesitant to purchase after reading negative comments. But then I remembered my friend who is using this for more than 15 yrs and spoke to her. Right after her call ordered. I'm glad I purchased it. I purchased from Tupperware Store on amazon directly and not the third party..so got a best piece in perfect packaging. It is airtight.i haven't filled it totally as my rice is almost over..will check when I fill the next batch and update here. I would say just go for it .

Solution for closing the lid
When I try to close the lid for the first time, I could not close it as the lid seemed a little smaller than the main unit. But I quickly figured out that this problem was caused by slight bending/deforming of the main unit because of probable pressure on it during the transit. So, When I was closing the lid, I pressed the main unit towards to lid to align with the groove of the lid to close it. After some trying, I could fit the lid the main unit. Then I kept it closed for 2 days to get the main unit adjusted to the lid. When I opened it after 2 days, the problem was solved and I could close the lid without any problem. Those who are facing the problem with lid, try my method.It came with plastic sheet wrapped around it. No outer packing box.I haven't tested how many kilos of rice it can contain as I don't have large quantity of rice at present.
