Incredible sound quality
I reviewed the S2 a while ago, which were brilliant, but the pads started to lose their glue about a year in. So that irritated me, as the sound quality in particular was fantastic. With the S2e's that sound quality is even better, slightly more nuanced in every department. I don't buy headphones for ANC, but these seem fine to me. Comfort wise they are great as well, hours of use in one journey/sitting with no issues. I assumed the majority of people pay for headphones for sound quality first and foremost, and if that is the case then look no further than the S2e. They also look amazing too, in Ruby Red. It remains to be seen whether they develop the same issue as the S2's though. It's not the end of the world, but it's not a good look for B & W as by all accounts a lot of the older models had issues with the headband and pad glue. Hopefully these newer models (and the PX3) buck this trend.

Amazing sound & just as good as their floor standing speakers !
I’ve always admired the quality and consistency of the B&W floorstanding speakers but I’ve been a bit hesitant to stray from my own preference for both recording and listening to music on. Those being my various Sennheiser headphones I’ve had over the years including my current ones I have for my turntable which are the HD-800s.However, after reading a number of reviews in various hi-fi forums and magazines too I thought I’d give these ones a try. I would have gone for the Pi-8 but didn’t want to spend too much in case I didn’t like them and had hassle returning them. I was so impressed right out the box with the clarity and open sound that these headphones gave, the ability to tweak the treble and bass a touch is a nice addition for those folk like me that prefer a slightly meatier and more driven bass and a treble that really sizzles. The app is also a brilliant tool for keeping check on the battery charge and the connections and updates too. Very impressed but the only negative is that there was no USB cable adaptor so had to purchase a separate charging plug for these headphones.

I wasn't going to review these, but...
I decided that I must do so.Given all the other reviews on here. There's not a huge amount to add to this that hasn't been already been said. These headphones have been around for a while now, and imho they are still a relevant purchase.having given the amount of "run in" period. These sound great. I also chose this model over the big brother version for a simple reason. These h'phones don't have a 5 band eq, but just a treble and bass setting in the app. For me this is a good thing, because I'm not forever fiddling with an eq to search for better sound. Which can be frustrating at the best of times?. With these I have found the best sound which are suited for my ears. Of course everyone else has their suitable taste in sound produced on any set of h'phones. I particularly like the punchiness of the bass without turning it up. The treble setting is set high-ish for my ears though, and that is fine. Now that these have had their "run in" period. They sound crisp and lively, and very immersive. I did a hearing test with my airpods pro 2s. And the results for my age were astonishing. So I can say that I am a good judge of good to great sound. And these B&W's work mighty fine indeed. And despite being classed as an older model, they still work mighty fine.

Good but...
Pretty good - they really should make a cooler looking logo to emblazon on the headphones - the B&W text looks pretty lamo. Anyway, real reason I came here just now, was that I am finding msyelf increasingly irritated by the auto-off shutdown noise - it's a really loud, bing-bong-bing cheery noise, that is excedingly jarring and shocking whenever the headphones go to sleep - it really disturbs me. It's also unnecessary - a simple, quiet bip-bip, or nothing at all, maybe just a simplle dum-dum sound. Anything soft would be fine. It's so jarring as it is.

Excellent comfort and sound, feels luxurious.
Excellent well balanced sound, so comfortable. Wearing these headphones for hours I can't feel the need to take them off and there's very little heat produced on the pads against my face. I EQd the sound to +1dB bass and 1.5dB treble and found it the sweet spot as they are a bit bass heavy out of the box.Connectivity was easy and quick. Showed up on my Samsung as I turned them on and was a shortcut to download the associated music app too, saving time searching for the app. Solid build. Firm clamping force. Excellent overall.

Title: Disappointing for the Price – Returned After Few Months
Title: Disappointing for the Price – Returned After Few MonthsBought these in November 2024 and honestly, they were a waste of money. Despite the premium branding and build, they underdeliver where it matters. My AirPods Pro 2 outperform them in every way — better noise cancellation, stronger bass, and far superior Bluetooth range. That said, the PX7 S2e are comfortable — I wore them for 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday, without discomfort. But comfort alone doesn’t justify the cost. The left side completely failed after a few months..... no physical or accidental damage.. just decided to stop working..... A quick check on Reddit confirmed this is a common issue. I contacted Bowers & Wilkins for support but, even though I’m well within warranty, they refused to help since I bought via a third-party (Amazon). Thankfully, Amazon refunded me.For this price, I expected a premium product and solid customer support — got neither.
