so... its hard. cuz i wanna give it a lower score, but not because the product i have is anything shy of amazing.. But because the first one I ordered was missing a backfoot being soldered, this apparently was a very important foot because the entire board began to smoke... I was so worried I destroyed the machine, i returned the first one (also just such bs about how simple it is, not the sellers fault totally on amazon/usps, but they give you a free return label, only the post office will not print it or scan it without you providing your own copy of the sticker that you almost certainly had to pay for since who has a half page sized label printer with ink and labels just laying around? probably not tons of ppl.Ok, so, after that, yes this product is amazing. I do recommend desoldering the chip, it took me several dozen attempts to get the pin correct when on the board, and even when i did i didn't realize i couldn't just factory the bios os like i wold any of OS.. No the makers are getting very creative in how you need to get the bios directly from them with you as the owner already registered, if you bought it second hand and someone else had registered it then you need to have a 3rd party like bios-mods help create a cleaned bios image for you. Three days before Christmas I was building a PC for my nephew on a Z490 platform. I auto-updated the bios, and the PC never re-booted. The motherboard had bricked. It also turned out that there was no bios flashback on that MSI motherboard.This adapter arrived NEXT DAY. I was able to find a pinout to the bios chip, and re-flash the chip externally.It saved me about $300 and a day of driving around in the snow looking for a Z490 motherboard.

Used it to quickly and easily recover my 4080 super from a terrible bios flash was kind of hard to decipher the internet is your friend but totally worth it all

It's works as intended but upon me try to remove some solder from a few pads using solder wick it rubbed the slik layer right off exposing the traces and now the USB programmer is useless so I had to order another one 😞

This saved me almost $700 bringing several devices back from the dead. I use this to backup and reflash SPI flash BIOS chips on motherboards. Everything i needed was included EXCEPT the software and instructions. Had to google to find instructions and download links after looking for a model number on the USB programmer. Cant believe this was only $10!!!

Útil y practico aunque no en todos los microchips encaja la piza sin embargo trae otras opciones de sockets, es de buena calidad, debería tener una url para descargar el software y/o driver.
