High Quality Camera
These are really excellent cameras. I live on the first floor of an apartment building. We are not allowed to install outdoor cameras or anything else on the outside of the building. My only other option was to buy indoor cameras that face out the windows. The cameras are adjustable. I bought multiple cameras because I live in a corner apartment. The Ring camera comes with the ability to manipulate what area your camera responds to. That is controlled from the app on my phone. This will stop my camera from being alerted if my cat comes near one of my cameras. Remember that all of my cameras are actually indoors and facing out through the windows. It also gives me the option of deciding whether it will record any motion or just motion that occurs when there is a person in view of the camera. And that function works as when I checked a motion sensor event, there was always a human being walking by or even in a different apartment building yard. I don't normally try to include any apartment spaces around me but that's kind of impossible because everything is so close here in the city. But the fact is that works perfectly, records perfectly and only records when there is human motion activity. So the camera can tell the difference between a human and a garbage can falling over from the wind. That's pretty cool. Setting up multiple cameras is very easy because it simply remembers the information on the app. I would recommend getting this camera over one of the blink cameras. I have a couple of them operating but they are nowhere near as sophisticated as the ring cameras. That's just a fact. Of course these are also a little bit more expensive, but they are worth it. It cost about $10 per month to put unlimited cameras from one household on a cloud recording system which is a good safety backup feature in case someone would rob the apartment and also take the cameras. The quality of the picture and videos are superior and very clear even at a distance. When the motion detectors are activated a very bright blue light which is easily visible through windows and screens becomes apparent to anyone outside, even in bright daylight. It is so bright that I think it would scare anyone away pretty quickly. Remember that the blue light is only activated when a person comes in view of the camera. This would scare somebody away I believe. So the blue light is not always on which is good. It also works perfectly with Alexa and I do have it hooked up to my Alexa system. You can simply ask one of your Alexa video devices like the Echo Shows to show one of the cameras which can be named to anything that you want it to be named to simply by changing the name of each camera in the app. You can also show it on a larger screen that is hooked into any Alexa system. The controls for this camera are simply amazing. There are so many different things you can do with these cameras. I live by myself so when I am out of town, I face one of the cameras inwards so I can watch my apartment and cat. Otherwise, I never point my cameras inwards but face all of them out the windows. It even has a setting for doing just that even though they are indoor cameras. What I am trying to say is that the cameras have a setting for looking out a window from indoors so as not to be disturbed by reflections. Also very cool and sophisticated as well is easy to manipulate. So obviously Ring is prepared for people facing these cameras outside through indoor windows. They clearly thought of everything. I would highly recommend buying one or more of these over the cheaper blink cameras. I highly recommend these indoor cameras that run on USB power. Very easy set up for each camera or just use one.

Compact, Powerful, and Worth Every Penny!
I was looking for a reliable indoor camera to keep an eye on things while I’m away, and the Ring Indoor Cam exceeded my expectations. It’s super compact, blends in well with any room, and delivers excellent video quality both live and recorded.Setup was a breeze, and it connected to my Ring app instantly. I love the two-way talk feature; it lets me check in on my pets and even speak to them when I’m not home. Motion alerts are fast and accurate, and the night vision works surprisingly well! It’s also affordable, which makes it perfect for adding multiple units around the house. If you’re already in the Ring ecosystem, this is a no-brainer.

Sensitive Motion Recording
I bought these indoor Ring security cameras to replace my Blink indoor mini cameras, because my home alarm and doorbell are all Ring devices.Pros: Setup was simple (pairing), configuration was easy (more options than the Blink cameras), form factor is nice, image quality is excellent, WiFi connectivity is excellent.Cons: Advertised as being able to ceiling mount and rotate the display, that is where the issue started. I bought 6 cameras, two have to be mounted upside down. I switched the “rotate” toggle in the app settings per the instructions and the display remains upside down. No matter what I tried, I could not get the image to display correctly. I finally reached out to the Ring Tech Support and they had to escalate a ticket to their Teir 2 or 3 support techs to fix. They ended up fixing it within hours by doing something on the backend. My concern is that this should not be an issue.Other than that, these are great little cameras. On par with the Blink cameras, but way more sensitive to motion, even after dialing the sensitivity down.
