Super reliable - high-speed WiFi Receiver!
Setup was effortless, and the WiFi 6/6E speeds are insanely fast! Perfect for PC's that have to be further from the Router and lose signal and get slower speeds with the internal WiFi cards.I'm 60 feet from my router and I get every drop of MBPS I pay for with this receiver. That's a huge plus, because I upload a lot of files and data working remote. It's also great for gaming & streaming video - No more buffering or dropped connections as the high-gain antennas provide a strong, stable signal at a distance. Works flawlessly. If you need a upgrade, this is it!

Great WiFi adaptor BUT, be sure to use the Netgear driver!
I’m using these with the router I got from AT&T which is a good router. I’ve got .95 gb coming from the pipe and I’m getting blazing speeds at the computer using these adaptors: between .4 and .9 gb depending on distance to the router. I'm talking all over a relatively large house, through walls and between floors, no less than .4 gb.I have several of these and initially had all kinds of trouble with them. The problem was that Windows 10 and 11 would recognize them as “plug and play” install them, and they would work … but I got all kinds of dropouts and huge variations in speed from minute to minute. Drove me crazy. Solution was pretty simple – use the Netgear driver, included with the product or download it from Netgear. Totally fixed everything. Since then, rock solid and blistering speed.I also tried several cheaper competing products (I mean, how complicated can this device be and why not get a $19 version instead of a $79 version) and believe me the Netgear product is more than worth the price differential for speed and stability.Very pleased.

Better WiFi than my laptop
I like the stand so you can position the WiFi for better line of sight, if needed. Also like the fact that it is USB-B socket so you can plug anything USB-A in there like a flashdrive. Speed on the WiFi is fantastic and I like how Windows 11 creates another instance of WiFi and all of the settings which makes it very easy to configure. It has faster through-put than the WiFi on my laptop. Very nice.

Extra: Extra: Customer service still exists!
I'm very happy with the network adapter. It was easy to install and immediately fixed the problem. Also was blown away with NETGEAR's customer service, Which we all know hardly exists nowadays, their efforts and help was much appreciated.

Works great on Arch
I used this to replace an old garbage Wi-Fi card in an obsolete form factor installed in an old Dell laptop. This works great, nice speeds and latency. No special driver garbage under Linux. The base is stable and the cable included is a pretty nice length so you can set it off to the side. It does take up some vertical space when you unfold it for the antenna, but if you are using it on a desk, it shouldn't get too much in the way.

Stable and fast
It's one of the best Wi-Fi adapters I've seen. The maximum PHY rate they advertise is 1.2 Gbit/sec, and this is consistent with what Windows reports. The actual throughout rate for Wi-Fi adapters is usually about 1/2 of the PHY rate, and that's what I observe with Tessabyte throughput test utility (see the screen shot): average TCP upstream at about 700 Mbit/sec, TCP downstream at about 500 Mbit/sec, similar UDP rates, low jitter, stable charts.

Rock solid stability and speed.
It is small and powerful. I replaced the other antenna on my main computer and it works wonderfully. This unit is worth the money for the speed and reliability it offers.

Complete insanity and an Update
The product was great And worked as advertised. Unfortunately you cannot register it with Netgear as the Company website cannot recognize the serial number printed on the box. It maintains that the products country of is incorrect. Because the serial number is not valid you cannot file an action with Customer Service since the serial number is not recognized by Netgear. I doubt that Amazon is selling fakes but it appears that I am cut off from software updates, firmware updates and any advice from Netgear because they cannot recognize the serial number printed on the box housing the product. This has been an amazingly painful customer experience. After calling Netgear and complaining about my experience I found and CSR who was willing to help solve my problem. The same Serial Number that was rejected when I used it worked for her and the product is now registered. However, the experience with the actual install worsened.Although the installation software indicates that it will disable other Wi-Fi adapters, it did not do so, as there was a low speed Intel modem integrated in the PC motherboard that I had to disable. After doing that I found that the AXE3000 was not working correctly and that there had been an update to the installation software, although I had used the fob included with the product for the install (and it was this that was out-of-date). So I installed the new software and somewhere in the process other software on the computer was damaged.I was moving a computer for my spouse's use to a room she had chosen that did not have a LAN connection so I thought the AXE3000 would be a good choice. It was for most things as its speed is quite high. However, somewhere in the process the installation damaged data for Battlenet and Worlds of Warcraft and the game (played by my spouse for two decades) is now unplayble and I am unable to find a fix. Thanks Netgear.
