Funny how these things happen - what started as Newcastle University scientists studying bacteria on seaweed to clean ship hulls ended up revolutionising pet dental care. I've been using PlaqueOff with my dog for about two weeks, and the results have surpassed my expectations.Admittedly, my cat needs this much more than the dog. However it’s a bit of a hit-or-miss so far, as she’s very fussy. If mixed in then there’s a much higher chance she’ll eat her food with this in. I’m hoping she gets used to it.While my dog never had severe dental issues, his breath would occasionally turn unpleasant.. and it was never great. Within this short period, particularly the last few days, the transformation has been remarkable. His breath has reverted to that fresh, puppy-like quality- something I hadn't realised was possible without aggressive dental intervention. He also loves the taste of it.This works systemically to reduce plaque, all thanks to a specific strain of bacteria that lives in seaweed. Meaning it does not need to be near the teeth to work its magic. There are also numerous benefits to seaweed consumption! It’s a no-brainer really. A healthy mouth prolongues your pets’ lifespan and prevents dental bills of £££.For anyone contemplating this product, it has now proven its worth. Simple, effective, and delivers on its promises. A solid solution for oral care. I would say, while this won’t replace brushing and chews.. but it certainly reduces their need.

I’ve seen no reduction in tartar/ plaque but I have noticed an excellent improvement in smelly breath! The dogs weren’t overly excited for the mini bones but they’d eat them when they realised they weren’t getting anything else! The ‘powder’ is small but mighty - they don’t even notice it on their food. No strong smells or anything off putting. I will be re purchasing but probably without the bones, and opt for raw beef knuckle as this has the best effect on tartar build up as far as I’ve noticed.

This is the second tub of this we have had it’s made a marked improvement to the build up on our dogs teeth e have jack Russell’s and a Akita and there is such an improvement on their teeth they are much cleaner , and the tartar has reduced considerably we will continue to use for the foreseeable future to keep ours dogs teeth clean .. so easy to use just a scoop on their food , no stress trying to clean their teeth

So I tried this for my Jack Russell seemed to work on the breath at first but after a week (still using the product) the bad breath returned. His teeth are not any cleaner than when I started. Used the whole pot before writing review.

We got this on advice of our vet, we have Silky Australian Terrier (similar to a Yorkshire Terrier ) a like yorkies, they have the same problems with their teeth. And her breath is bad!! She has always had denta stix and they have never really helped. This product seemed to work straight away. We noticed her breath change instantly. She likes the chew and it lasts around 15/20 minutes. Half that time is spent being thrown around by her. The seaweed powder was a hit too. She eats it whether it’s on dry food or wet. Over the past week her teeth have starting getting whiter

Arrived promptly. Good value for money. Starting to notice a benefit to both of my dogs' teeth already. They eat the chews eagerly and do not mind the powder on their food at all. Excellent product, will continue to purchase, and use alongside their daily teeth brushing.

Seems like a good product. I haven’t used it on my three cats long enough to form a decision. I was previously using another seaweed based plaque product. Do not know if one is better than the other.I will continue with it and review again. Only a very small amount is required once a day. My three cats eat their food with it on without issue. Quite expensive for a tiny pot though. I have heard lots of good feedback about this product. I’d love to be able to find more out about how it works.

I found by putting a scoop inside some grated cheese and then squeezing it in to a ball it ensured my dog ate it all and it is doing a great job of removing the plaque off her back teeth. I would recommend this product
