Works as expected
Memory card booted up with no issue. HDD piece is made for modern hard drives (SATA power/data connector) and works with spin and solid state drives. Easy to set up and use with my old ps2 (phat model).Kind of wish this adapter had working Ethernet/line ports, but not a deal breaker. Just know this brand does not have network connectivity option.

"Network" Adapter DOA, memory card works fine
Despite numerous attempts with various drives, the network adapter remains undetected by HDloader or OpenPS2Loader. I know the problem is not with my console, as my older first-party official network adapter still works just fine. But this third-party SATA adapter was DOA.The only positive thing I can say about this experience is that the bundled memory card gave me no trouble and is loaded up with all of the best homebrew apps to maximize the PS2 experience... but without the network adapter (the whole reason FOR this purchase), I won't be able to use HDL or OPL.

The FMCB memory card and the SATA HDD functions work.
But the yellow sticker is a fake, like all the others I'm noticing now. This device does not have ANY NETWORK HARDWARE. It's just for the SATA HDD/SSD, the yellow sticker is covering nothing, its just there to make you think there's a network port.

Zero network connectivity of the "network adapter".
That yellow sticker covers nothing. There is no external connection. The "network adapter" is just a HDD adapter. False advertisement and a waste of my time and money waiting for this thing to arrive. Now I have to find one that's actually legitimately a network and SATA adapter.

Not up to date
I went this cheaper option and regretted it immediately. The network adapter didn’t fit flush and the memory has a old version of freemcboot.
