Overall well designed. This heats well and is soothing and relieves pain. The fragrance is just right and the lavender with the heat is great to make you relax and even fall off to sleep. The handles are definitely convenient.Cons:Could be slightly longer and it would be so much nicer. I can imagine for tall people this might be just barely going around the neck.The cotton side is warmer and the reverse almost hardly gets warm enough.The heat doesn't stay on long enough; it's gone in a few minutes. So, if you're in pain and want to use this item to soothe, you'll be back and forth to your microwave every 10-15 minutes.The filling gets heated and retains heat which you then use on your body. The part that touches your shoulder or neck is where the rice moves down with gravity (on the shoulder: forward and back and on the neck: forward on both sides) and you get only the empty cloth touching the spots you need the most heat on.4 stars because of a frustratingly tight plastic bag that it came in. It could not go back into it and tore the ziploc bag. And since we have the Lavender and don' t want to lose the scent, had to scramble to find a clean bag for it.Big con is that the lavender smell was gone in a few weeks.

Hopefully we'll made. Time will tell, only had it a week. (26").It's loosened up a bit in that time which makes it easier to form around my wrist. If it gets too loose I'd consider running a stitch line across the middle maybe.I find 2m 45sec to be the ideal time in the microwave.Lavender scent was a bit much the first 2 times but is good now.Tip: lay on a plate and spread out in microwave. It'll never pick up food or grease. Plate can go right back in the cupboard, no odor.

I purchased this for a friend, so my review is based on my purchase experience and expectations, as well as, comments from my friend.It arrived SUPER quick, fabric and quality was better then expected, and the smell [of lavendar] was/is amazing...My friend strained her shoulder/rotator cuff and was amazed of the length of the pad [she could wrap it all the way around the top and bottom of her arm.The instructions were clear... she was able to heat and reheat it without it becoming too hot and/or burning it.She especially loved the fact that it could go from cold [straight out of the freeze] to warm-hot.Highly recommend this product!

At first the scent was very strong I was worried about it, but after a few uses the smell has decreased too not so overpowering. Is now a pleasant level. I like how there’s two different sides one more fuzzy an soft then other, when the heat stars to go down on the fuzzy side I can flip it over to other side and it’s perfect temp again due to different material. It also keeps even fairly well (the stuff inside), which again also happy with. Also happy with how long it is (can fit across waist or around neck well also).**update**Product is easy to accidentally burn, part of it smells burnt. :/

My old microwavable heating pad literally fell apart recently, and I found this one after scrolling through bunches of ones that didn't meet my needs. This pad has the natural fill that heats evenly and holds the heat. It has a pleasant but not overpowering lavender scent, and it came with great instructions for how long to heat it, at what temperature, and how to safely reheat it during the same session. The shape and fabric are great. I use it on my shoulder, neck, and lower back early in the morning or when I head to bed, and it eases the arthritis pain with a penetrating moist heat. An excellent product.

This thing smells so good. I had a heating pad that was filled with Buckwheat (not the little guy from little rascals) and it smelled like human waste. I think my brother used it once and got a bit too relaxed and may have let one slip into it. It smelled so bad that I had to clean my microwave after heating it up. Anyway, this one is a big improvement. Smells like lavender. I don’t mind putting something that smells like lavender onto my skin, unlike my feces scented one. If you have a really gross smelling heating pad it’s time to upgrade, for God’s sake!

I like the scent. I like the fact that I can just pop it in the microwave and then place it on my lower back.The only thing I really didn’t like is that it’s uncomfortable if you’re going to use it on your hips or tailbone. It needs to be a bit wider and flatter.I do like the handles though.It’s a good product and it does help somewhat.
