Sally Hansen Insta-Dri, In a Blush, Quick Dry, Long Lasting, Opaque, Shiny Pink Nail Polish

This is a great color as it can look green or almost black depending on the light. The brush is nice and gives you a lot of control over the polish.It dries very quickly compared to other polish, and it's a true dry. I put one coat on and let it dry, and then put a second coat on and let that dry. I don't get any of that problem where it seems dry to touch but if you press on the polish it leaves an impression.A lot of times this sort of fast drying polish in my experience doesn't last a long time, but this lasted for a good week without chipping and without having used a top coat or a base coat. No joke. I didn't do any heavy cleaning or even hand-wash any dishes during that week, but still, that's impressive.When it finally did wear, it just wore a bit at the tip of some of my nails. I was able to touch it up to get a couple more days out of it before removing and applying my polish fresh.Also, for those who are really sensitive to smells, this polish doesn't have any unusual or particularly strong smell. It smells like polish, but not obnoxiously so, and not from across the room.Way way back in the day I used to be licensed manicurist and I used some of the really expensive professional brands. This brand has been around for ages, and overall it is every bit as good in my experience as the super pricey brands, and it's often better than the super pricey brands. Some of the products are a lot better than the super pricey brands. I have never found a product that is worse.

The nail polish quality is great. However, don’t expect to get much variety with this pack. I was completely fine with receiving colors I probably wasn’t going to like. What I’m not fine with is receiving ONLY shimmers and sheer shades. I got no opaque colors. I decided to just give them away since I wasn’t going to use them. What am I going to do with a bunch of toppers?

I've had these polishes for a year and can safely say they were a good purchase! I've been building my nail polish collection, and it's so fun to find assorted lots like this one. I enjoy testing out colors I might not have bought otherwise. Out of the seven, three have become frequent wears: "Cherry-ish You," "Pinky Please," (see photos) and "Petal Dance." Six are from the Pride collection and have a slightly pearlescent finish. "Pinky Please" is quite a sheer pink and requires several coats if you don't want a French manicure look. The last polish of the bunch is the bright blue Peeps color, which has a quirky "sugared" texture and appearance. All of the colors are attractive and distinct from one another.Strangely, I don't think they dry quickly. My regular Essie and OPI polishes dry faster and harder than Insta-Dri. Insta-Dri stays tacky and smudge-prone *much* longer, as I learned the hard way. Maybe the speed is just compared to other Sally Hansen lines? Or you're not meant to need more than one coat? Disappointing, but I'm OK with that since I bought them more for the variety than for quick drying.
