I went through a lot of trouble to get to this computer. I had to have it shipped to the mainland because it was hard to find someone who would ship it to Hawaii and then I had to have someone send it from the mainland to Hawaii and when I finally got it, I plugged it in and immediately there was a really loud fan noise. Then I had to go through hours and hours of customer service with Amazon to get them to pay for my return shipping and return the item and wait a good bit of time to get my refund. Overall, unfortunately, a very disappointing experience.

Great laptop, and great vendor. I've had this laptop for over 6 months, no issues whatsoever. When the laptop shipped to me it was in mint condition, perfectly packaged. There were several updates I need to do because of the Intel Processors, but the instructions were all available in Apple Support Community. I'm extremely happy with this laptop, I use it for 4K video editing, and the speed is seamless, even for a 2019 model. I would definitely buy from this vendor again, very reliable company and they do sell solid, re-certified laptop. I highly recommend this vendor.

Great deal! Showed up and looked practically brand new. Updated to Sequoia with no issues, transferred from my old 13" macbook pro without issue. While it did arrive with a dead battery, however the battery seems to be charging normally. I did have to charge it for abou15 mins before it would turn on. The screen is big and bright, and doesn't appear to have any issues. The sound quality is "typical mac", but that's expected. I wouldn't say the sound is any worse or better than my 13" macbook.Overall, I'd say that this is a great value for the money, especially since it can run Sequoia.

I bought this because a MacBook Pro 13 that I purchased last fall turned out to be a piece of junk. There is a review here for that as well. Rather than put more money into repairs, I decided to replace it with this one. So far, I am pleasantly surprised. Battery life is around six hours, the physical condition is better than expected, the screen and keyboard seem like new, and it is fast! We’ll see how it does over time - look for a review six months-ish from now.

I normally don't do reviews, as my opinion is just that, and my idea of something might not lens or translate to another's perception. In this case however I will make an exception.The item arrived in a generic box, as I figured it would, but was pleasantly surprised to see a genuine apple usb-c charger (although not the right wattage, more on that next) and a generic power cord. The machine measured up in every way to excellent condition, the black pads on the bottom of the machine were not even scuffed, and the only well to tell it was not brand new was a inventory sticker on the bottom, and slightly less than 100% battery life.While the power brick was Apple, it was only 87 and not the required 96W version and I pretty much assumed I was going to have to live with it. I called Amazon customer service and the automated bot gave me the brushoff saying I had to contact the vendor.. - that usually does not go well.. but I persisted.In the box was a customer satisfaction card, with a phone number to call if you had any issues.Well I called figuring I would get another bot, but a human picked up the phone, and without even needing to be transferred she confirmed my order number, confirmed I was sent the wrong size charger and said one would be out in 7 days.Well 2 days later it was already at my door, another Apple branded charger AND an apple branded cord, still wrapped around the apple cardboard shipping ring. Way to GO...AAAA++++ - I have ordered certified apple refurbished before, and except for the lack of apple packaging, I think this machine will turn out just as good..

The laptop was exactly what I was looking for, but had a hardware / firmware issue. I spent several hundred dollars trying to get it to stop restarting and apps from crashing, only to learn that it had these issues and wasn’t going to work properly.The return and refund policy seems to be working well so far; it was picked up yesterday, so we’ll see how it goes.Unfortunately, this cost me lots of time and money above and beyond what I paid for the MacBook Pro. I spent around $300 trying to fix a $600 laptop.I hope my next refurbished MacBook Pro works properly so I can get back to normal at work.

I bought two separate MacBook Pro’s in “excellent condition”. Neither of them fit the description.The first one came with a deeper dent in the lid, scratches all along the outer edges, cracked plastics just below the screen, and a bad battery. The battery states service recommended and has a 1700 cycle count.I figured it was sent by mistake, so I ordered another before setting up my return to get it quickly. The second looked worse than the first with dents on the bottom, shiny wear marks on either side of the track pad, outer edge scratches, a very greasy screen, and a dirty keyboard with some sticky keys. The battery is functioning but is at 800 cycles.
