strong and it's still going strong.
As a DIY enthusiast, I've used a variety of drill bits and accessories over the years. However, I recently tried the BOSCH HC2084 Bulldog SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer Bit for a project that required drilling through tough concrete. And I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with its performance. The 1/2 inch diameter and 10-inch length of the bit made it perfect for my needs, and the SDS-Plus shank made it easy to insert and remove from my rotary hammer drill. The bit cut through the concrete like butter, leaving clean and precise holes without any chipping or cracking. The tip of the bit remained sharp and effective throughout the project, which saved me time and effort in the long run.Additionally, the design of the bit allowed for efficient dust removal, which kept the work area clean and minimized the risk of inhaling dust and debris. This was an important factor for me as I value safety and clean work environments.Overall, I'm very happy with the performance of the BOSCH HC2084 Bulldog SDS-Plus Rotary Hammer Bit. It exceeded my expectations in terms of durability, precision, and dust removal. While it may be pricier than some other drill bits on the market, the quality and performance make it a worthwhile investment for anyone who needs to tackle tough materials like concrete. I would definitely recommend this product to others.

Parted the cement sea
It is actually for a hammer drill...but it worked with my regular drill, it just took FOREVER

Use with Tapcon screw system.
Couldn’t find this short size in the big box stores. Quality Bosch product. I use the shorter version here for Tapcon screws. Longer version isn’t versatile, don’t need the depth, longer ones more prone to breakage.

Great concrete drill bit
Using my Bosch hammer drill, this thing easily drilled the 3 holes I needed to fasten my safe to the concrete floor. It has lots of life left if I need more drilling. Great bit.

Great product, long life.
Really solid rock bit. I've done 40 or 50 holes in granite and some in limestone, basalt, and gniess.Still going strong. Highly recommended.Beats the pants of the hardware store bits that drop the carbide after 6 holes...Be sure to grease the sds drive and go lightly, you don't want to force the bit against the stone. It needs to be able to bounce a little to work efficiently.

I am questioning if these are really Bosch bits ?
I broke 3 bits out of my 25 pack drilling 9 holes in the first 5 minutes. I was drilling in brick wall. Pretty soft bricks. I had Hilti bit before it lasted about a year. Yes about a year with light usage. I only have a Hilti drill, (NOT bOSCH) soft start, never push, let the drill do the work and I still managed to break 3 bits in soft brick. I'll have another job to drill next week if I break another few bits then I'll change my rating from 2 to 1 star. Update. I am raising the rating to 3. Next drillings vent well with no losses though I was very careful not to push on the drill. They are delicate.

Don’t attempt to drill field stone
As seen in the photo, this was a relatively expensive failed experiment. I attempted to use this drill bit to make a water feature. I was barely able to make a mark before the bit was dull; even with flowing water to keep the bit from heating.

Usually good bits...
Good thing i bought 2.First one broke (more like shattered) in 3 pieces not even 1" into the first hole.In 20 years of construction and working with sds drills regularly and thats the first time i have ever seen THAT happen.Bosch bulldogs are generally usually good bits. Not sure why this happened, thinking i wound up with a dud.

Perce bien
Cette mêche est bonne faire des trou dans le béton. C'est pas la meilleure mêche que jai eu mais pour quelque travaux léger elle est correct! Mais pour des gros travaux je préfère pas!
