as advertised
I recently acquired the 9mm ammo case, and I must say, it's an excellent product for its price. Here's why I'm giving it a 5-star review:The ammo case is impressively well-made, with a sturdy build that can handle rough handling and the demands of the shooting range. I have full confidence that my ammunition is safe and protected. The closure mechanism is reliable and secure, ensuring that the contents remain locked and won't accidentally spill or become damaged during transport. It offers ample storage space for my 9mm rounds, allowing me to keep them organized and ready for use without any hassle.Considering the quality, durability, and security it provides, the price of this case is more than reasonable, making it a great value for the level of protection and organization it offers. In summary, this 9mm ammo case is a fantastic product, especially considering its affordable price. It delivers the durability, security, and organization needed for ammunition and is a valuable asset for gun enthusiasts. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase and highly recommend it to others. It's unquestionably a 5-star product!

Pleasantly surprised
The media could not be loaded. I purchased these plastic boxes fully expecting to return them but when I started handling the case it felt nice.Pros: The case feels sturdy so the build quality is good.-Has a solid click when it locks and it's even a bit stiff to open which is a great thing in this case.-Really nice, smooth hinge thatopens up a little over 180° if you need it to or even pops completely off.-They also hold 100 rounds and have a small footprint compared to the factory boxes of 50 rounds so that's going to be real nice for the range bag.-Comes with sticker labels.Cons:-As you can see in the short video, if you prefer to store your rounds with the tips down then there is a LOT of movement, so much that if you try to close the box you might have to shove or shake a few rounds back in place before it fully closes. It really seems like the box was made with storing bullets with tips up in mind. Only a con if you have a storage preference but for me that makes it difficult to grab rounds from the case.-Rounds are closer together than in factory boxes so you might have trouble grabbing rounds, especially if you wear gloves. Not too many bad things to say about this case. If you buy rounds in bulk & want to organize them then these are pretty nice cases for the price. I'm glad I saved some of my factory boxes though as having the bullet tips pointing down making them easier to grab and load into mags.Hope this helps!

Very nice shell holder
I needed something for my .22 caliber Long Rifle shells. This is very nice and sturdy and works well.

Great little boxes for 9mm ammunition
I have a number of these types of ammo boxes for several different calibers from various manufacturers and these MTM case guard boxes are my favorite. I like these because they have real hinges as opposed to the little plastic web that some other boxes use - they don't want to stay open - the lid is always half closed. The lid on these MTM boxes stays where you want it - it will open 180 degrees and stay there. I also like the semi-transparent blue plastic - so you can see the ammo inside - you can see how many rounds are in there. The one thing I don't particularly like is the boxes have rather sharp corners on the latch and hinges. I usually snap the lid off the box and take a small piece of sandpaper or emery cloth to the corners of the latch and hinges - just 10 seconds is all it takes to round the edges.I reload my ammunition and that is what I use these boxes for. I typically insert the cartridges with the bullets down/primers up and I don't worry about the cartridges rattling around a little - your just going to shoot them anyway. I think the other reviewers who complain about the bullets rattling are a little OCD - so whatever works for them, primers up or primers down - the box works either way. These boxes are sturdy, lightweight, and offer efficient use of space - and they stack well. What more can you possibly ask for ?I think these are great ammo boxes and a spectacular value at the current price of $3.95 for the 9mm boxes. With Prime shipping, mine arrived less than 24 hours after I ordered them.

Nice cases. Compact storage. The translucent ones are nicer than the opaque ones
This is a pretty common brand ammo box. They work pretty well. At first, I was upset because I tried loading them primer side down. When I got the range they were hard to get out of the box. (the round nose bullets were slippery and hard to grab) I later decided to load them primer up. That makes them wobble around a little. (9mm, I haven't tried 380 in them) The trick is that once you have it full, you just shake it a bit. The bullets all line up and look uniform. The cover closes nicely. Once you close the cover shake it a bit more. They now look perfect.I bought some green ones that are not translucent. I don't' care for those as much. You can't tell if they are full or partially full without opening them. I may be overthinking it.They come with some stickers to put information on if you reload. I don't use this so far. I just fill them with factory ammo. I like how compact the MagTech ammo is in its factory packaging. These are almost that compact. One of these is ever so slightly larger than 2 boxes of MagTech 9mm.Oh, they also stack very nicely. Even a tall stack is unlikely to fall over without being pushed pretty good. The clip on the box is nice and tight so they aren't going to fall open. I was saving cardboard boxes from MagTech and filling them to take up less space but those cardboard flaps are a pain and they wear out pretty quick. The Federal Ammo comes in packaging that uses a lot of space for some reason.
