I am very happy with my purchase of this thermometer! I previously had a different kind that had a sheath to keep track of, and that one needed little round batteries. This one needs no sheath, and it uses a type of battery that is easily purchased and changed out when needed. My old one started to go through batteries, so that is why I replaced it. Bonus: it has a magnet on it that is so convenient in the kitchen. I keep mine on the side of the top of the stove. I would recommend this product.

Had this for a while now. Good simple thermometer with a backlight and magnetic base. Extremely durable and waterproof.... I accidentally left it outside a couple times in a downpour and it still worked perfectly fine.

This works great. It comes with its own battery to insert. It is easy to read with a background and has either Farenheit or Celcius. Husband checked it for accuracy and it is find. I got him the orange color because he always loses the black ones we have had before.
