Good, natural sleep aid
Excellent product. I take this at night. Helps me sleep soundly, whether I take it with any other product or by itself. I've found no side effects at all. I use the chewable and it's a nice mint taste.

Works great
Bought for my adhd child, helps so much! Helps him focus with no side effects! Didn’t notice much help with sleep but the quality is worth the money! And the size didn’t bother him

Easy, effective way to get the calming benefits of L-Theanine
This form of L-theanine is easy to take, chewable, and pleasant to taste. I can feel the calming effects within 15 minutes of taking 200 mg (2 tablets) of this product. It is my go-to supplement when I am feeling stressed or irritable, and if there is ongoing stress, I can take it on a regular basis. As a clinical nutritionist, I have recommended this product or similar ones in capsules to my clients, family, and friends.

Seems to do what I bought it for.
My son, who has never been diagnosed with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, still displays some Autistic tendencies. This is actually something that seems to run in my family with the men, just prior to puberty. Then when puberty hits, it seems to go away. When he gets overstimulated or has had a stressful day, he makes loud humming, explosive noises that serve the purpose of helping him to de-stress. That said, it's very annoying and also, he's already kind of the "weird kid" at school due to having some hearing loss that causes his voice to sound funny to the other kids. It is very hard for him to keep it together while at school, so he does not make those inappropriate noises and draw more attention to himself. The end result is that he comes home and makes them for hours to get them out of his system. He was also having trouble falling asleep every night due to being "scared" for reasons he could not explain. "Just scared." Nothing in particular he could point to. He was experiencing generalized anxiety. His dad suffers from this as well. The lack of sleep was very concerning to me. It was so bad that at 10 years old, we were occasionally have to resort to a Benadryl to help him get to sleep on school nights, after hours of relaxation techniques did nothing. I found this and, based on the reviews of others with children who have similar issues, decided to try it.We have been through three or four bottles now. Honestly, I only notice that it's working when my son starts relentlessly making those noises and I ask him when the last time he took his "relaxing vitamin" was. His answer is always, "Oh, I forgot. I haven't taken it since yesterday (or some similar timeline)". If he misses a dose or two, the noises come back. As long as he's taking it, every once in a while, I might hear him make a small sound briefly, but then he stops. If he stops taking it or misses doses, he again has difficulty falling asleep due to fears he cannot put a name to and he begins loudly and relentlessly making self-stimulating noises. He has to take the max (2 tablet) dose twice per day to get the effect. He weighs close to a hundred pounds, so that may be why. We started him out at one tablet before bed and that seemed to help the anxiety somewhat but it wasn't really cutting it. It wasn't until we upped him to 2 tablets twice a day (three times a day is the max) that we noticed the noises stop and the nightly trouble falling asleep ceased. He has not experienced any side effects of sleepiness during the day, or any other side effects that we can tell, which was my biggest fear in giving him a supplement that was unfamiliar to me. It's pricey, no doubt, but the benefits are worth it to me. I can avoid taking him to the doctor and running the risk of getting him a diagnosis that will follow him for life and possibly put on meds that could cause permanent side-effects like facial tics. He's a very smart kid who does well in school and this was a good alternative to medical intervention. My son doesn't seem to mind the taste, but I do wish it came in swallow tablets. The tablets are about the size of a quarter but also slightly thicker so they cannot be swallowed. I suppose you could break them into fourths and try to swallow them but I don't know.

Shuts off brain so you can sleep.
I’ve had the worst insomnia for the last week or so. Nothing helped; not even my prescription sleep aid. I tried adding glycine, tryptophan, GABA, melatonin (with lavender and chamomile), and even Xanax but nothing helped. I was averaging maybe two hours of sleep each night. I ordered this sun theanine chewable hoping it would help and it did. I took one chewable with my prescription sleep aid at 9pm. I started to feel a little sleepy but still not actually falling asleep yet. Although I was watching Netflix and that keeps me from falling asleep too. I looked at the clock and it was 11:30PM I decided to take another chewable sun theanine along with 1 chewable MidNite Melatonin and shut off my iPad. For the first time in a week or so I slept like a rock. I’m feeling a little hungover/groggy/super chill so I think either the extra melatonin or Sun Theanine tablet might have been too much. At least if I want to get out of bed and do anything. Tonight I will experiment with either 2 Sun Theanine or 1 Sun Theanine and 1 MidNite melatonin (only 1mg of melatonin). Again, I’m taking a prescription sleep aid with this, so effects may be different but all I can say is my prescription was not helping me fall sleep the last two weeks until I took this. Usually my prescription works to help me sleep, but have been under a lot stress last couple weeks. I feel like this Sun Theanine Chewable helps to shut off my brain and get rid of racing thoughts so I can sleep. These really work. They taste great too. Not too sweet or tart. I feel like it’s a little pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Very effective
I took 1 then about 20 min later I felt so care free and good. My mind was still, my thoughts suppressed. I got tired and fell asleep and slept sound. This morning I do feel a little groggy but it may not be from the supplement. I will take another 1 tonight and see then come back and share my experience;)

Good for the price
These will remind you of TUMs tablets, or Rolaids. They are round, chalky, and white with a vaguely 'fruity' taste. Suntheanine is the best form of L-Theanine for efficacy, which is why I purchased this brand. I also prefer a chewable for no other reason that...I just do. Anyway, this has the calming effect you want, easy to take, don't taste too bad, and the price is favorable. You get a lot for your money, which is rare these days. I've used L-Theanine for anxiety for about 5 years. One thing you need to know is to use the smallest effective dose. This is not a 'more is better' supplement. I'm an average sized woman and 50mg is my morning and evening dose. More can make your head feel 'weird' but 50 is a sweet spot for me. Give it a try if you have trouble winding down at night, or to smooth out the caffeine jitters. This works synergistically with caffeine for good focus without feeling spun up.

Great product for stress
As a neurospicy person, I use various methods to regulate and calm my central nervous system. L-Theanine is a great supplement for calming and reducing cortisol levels. I like the flavor and the tablets are not chalky. I use these throughout the day to manage daily stress.
