Update after a few days:After comparing to 2 other brands, the ease of use for this lip balm is the best.I realized the shape makes it easier to apply, and the consistency it really good.Better than Burt’s bees and honest.I think the color compliments my skin.It’s not extremely pigmented but it shows enough, and my photos show one application fully spread on.I didn’t want to apply more because the consistency is like petroleum jelly, so it would’ve been too slippery and it isn’t the best product to apply in layers without letting it dry a little. Applying it is a little tricky. It’s not the shape of lipstick obviously, but it’s not the typical round lip balm shape either.It does seem moisturizing and I still have some on even after drinking something, but you definitely need to re apply every few hours since it’s slippery.I added a photo of me without anything, me with it on in the same sunlight, and then another photo in the bathroom with that lighting

Great color, moisture that lasts for at least a few hours before reapplying, and full spectrum SPF! The previous version of this product had SPF but was not full spectrum, so this product has enhanced protection. It's also reasonably priced compared to the MD SolarSciences tinted spf lip balms I've been using.

I first saw this lip balm at Walmart and bought it because of the unique shape of the tube and the fact that it has sun protection and I could not be more pleased!1. SPF 20: Regular lip gloss ENHANCES sun damage, so having sun protection is essential. (I work outside a lot.) This product helped the dark brown edges on my lips (from wearing regular lip gloss in the sun before I knew it was the cause) fade almost completely.2. Rich color, but not overpowering: Gorgeous color! (I have only tried "Fresh Plum," but plan on buying others.) The color looks dark in the tube, but wound up matching my natural lip color almost perfectly (I'm on the pale/ivory scale of things.) It makes me look full of color altogether and makes my lips look healthy and soft. I wear it day AND night, because it goes with anything and everything. Makeup on, or not.3. The shape of the tube: It's as if you took a round lip balm tube and flattened it a bit. This wound up being more than just interesting; It makes application more precise (on the bow of my lips, etc.), and fits in a clothing pocket AND in my purse better.4. One of my favorite things: it smells (but has no flavor at all) like a fresh, unripened banana. The familiar smell bugged me and I was thinking of some kind of plant or flower until I figured it out. My mom, sister and friend all agreed that it really is like a green banana. Weird, but true. And awesome. Just makes applying it that much more pleasant.5. Texture/quality: This product is not waxy at all whatsoever. It's like a very soft, creamy lipstick in a way, but applies like a lip gloss, but isn't overly glossy. It glides on softly and smoothly, and lasts for hours. My lips are perpetually chapped, but if I happen to keep up with applying this product several times a day, the result is softer, smoother lips. It isn't miraculous--they will be chapped again if I stop using it--but even as it's wearing off, my lips are soft and much smoother. (My boyfriend will concur.)I highly recommend this product, and can't wait to try the other shades. I hope they all smell the same. Lol

Have been using for a few months now and now I can give a clear review:Pros: - This is the most pigmented tinted lip balm that actually shows the color (and stays) on the lips. (I have tried many different tinted lip balms before)- Moisturizing effect is above average, but it feels light and not heavy at all and gives me a very nice MLBB color on my lips.- It has a very light scent, which is a plus to me since I hate fragrance in cosmetics.=> If you have no makeup and just want your lips to be a little bit cherrier when going out this is perfect!Cons: around 5-10 min after application I always feel a tingling sensation on my lips like an allergy reaction to some ingredient, but it lasts no more than in the first 10 min and my lips are not swollen or anything, so I keep using it daily

my favorite lip balm. nice color options, not overwhelming, can be put on over lip tint. excellent protection, moisture. good for gifting too. nice tint. my go-to.

I have used this lip balm in fresh plum every day for the past 10 years. It was the perfect little hint of color while being wonderful for my lips and not causing the dreaded "chapstick addiction" that can actually cause your lips to be more dry. They were actually revitalizing and I loved it. I'm running low so I ordered 6 more. I was wary when I saw the new packaging (more of a pink/mauve color no more black tube) and sure enough the formula was different. It now smells like sunscreen (awful and distracting) and tastes absolutely foul. And that's just from me having it on my lips for a few minutes. I didn't even lick my lips, the horrible taste just seeped into my mouth and couldn't be escaped. The texture was also off, as it was not longer gliding on smooth and shiny, it was thick and dull and way more like regular lipstick. I'm devastated because this has been the only thing I put on my lips for the last 10 years as it was perfect for every occasion. I contacted Neutrogena because I thought I'd gotten a dupe product off amazon, but they confirmed the packaging was correct and the formula had indeed changed.No idea what I'll use for lip balm now, as this product is completely unusable.

Pretty berry color that just looks like your lips, but better. As far as a balm, Chapstick is better and lasts longer, but this works ok.
