Bright light
Nothing dislike present for my wife she likes quirky lights and this fits the bill does everything it claims, tricky to float, but not that hard, only downside is not able to switch of without having to re-float ie. power must be on permanently to float globe but you can switch light of without disconnecting the power so globe continues to float without light, all in all very good, and lots of different colours and functions on the remote. Go for it !!

Eye catching and conversation starter
Works well, bit difficult to get it to initially float but with a little patience it works fine and looks really good.I did have an issue with it but the company were very helpful and sorted the problem straight away.

Caught FIRE !
This worked beautifully for the first couple of months. Then it dropped to its base (maybe a power failure) and afterwards had great difficulty re-balancing. Many reviewers saying how hard it was to balance, but previously we'd been able to balance it with little more than a little patience. However, after spending a day or so attached to the magnetic base, it was almost impossible to re-balance.But when it finally did and I left it on, the base caught fire, burning a small hole through the very centre of the base and filling my child's bedroom with fumes.Thankfully I smelt the acrid stench before it had poisoned my child or the fire had taken hold and burnt the house down.I am not sure of the best cause of action. Try to return to Amazon (as out of the thirty days, but obviously faulty) Or send to trading standards as this device is clearly a danger.Obviously I can't recommend this product.

WOW (but patience needed at first).
My son saw this on a you tube blog, and decided he wanted one. Saved his money and I ordered it for him.It is a moon/ globe shape with some topographical releif for the craters so looks pretty good. The instructions say it doesn't require power.. and we beleived them. It is magnetic and floats above the base... I think we tried at first for nearly 1hr to get it to float. The magnets are super strong and it just wants to go one side or the other.. hugely frustrating (or character building depending on your outlook). However, things change if you turn the base power on. I think there must be some magnetic force added via the power, because ONLY when the base is powered on will it float.(Just to be clear, yes the base has power, but when we read it didn't need to be powered on, we assumed the base created the light effects, not that it was required to get it to float!)Once we used the power.. it was still difficult the first few times to get it to float.... infact, so hard we nearly sent it back as faulty. BUT, we kept going as others had seemed to have sucess.AND, yes, once you finally get it.. it works amazingly. It also will start to spin on its own, like it is orbiting...And, the base can be tapped to change the colors.. from a pale yellow(very warm white) (supposed to look like the moon), to a Cool white .. and it can fade between the two shades. My son loves it.It is a real pain to recentre and get to float.. and if there is a power cut in the middle of the night, it drops with a load sound, that wakes you.... but other than that, its uber cool. AND, if you have the patience to position it, then I would recommend. And for those, thinking... it does not float.. Yeah, we were in your gang too.. Just make sure the power is ON. Then cup your hands UNDER it.. gently removing them.. .. it HAS to be DEAD centre, or the magnets pull it one way or the other.. AND, you want to have it.. almost 1 cm high..First few times, you just repeat the SAME thing, untill you get it..After you have got there once or twice, it gets easier..Whether you get the knack, or if the magents soften to make it easier, I am not sure... but it does get easier.

Amazing
Great at providing some mood lighting but above all mesmerising to stare at as it spins

Cool light
Difficult to levitate took over 30 mins but once you have done it once it's easier to do the second time but make sure power is on when you levitate it .
