They can be stacked to some degree. While they are more duffel bad like they're a little more rigid and stackable than a cloth duffel bag.

Yes, there are three different sizes. They are 125L, 93L and 76L.

Are these recommended to store items in a storage unit?

Sure, but I'd avoid things like food or liquids that could freeze if unit is not climate controlled (outside). Also depends on what is stored in them. If there are hard items inside, then they could even be stackable. Soft items maybe not, but those could go on top of other items in unit. These are not rigid and are collapsible.
