Mix of both worlds
Now I've played all the series and I've liked some more than others. This outing is back to basics for the franchise with a mix of Conviction. Sam is back as Sam and but you will feel like you've played this game before somewhere. The locations are nice and the graphics but what it lacks is true innovation. The Conviction style tagging and killing in motion is useful sometimes but really it feels like cheating! That's not to say it isn't fun though and I quite enjoyed watching the John Woo inspired twists and kills. Basically if you like Cell from the original two outings and also don't mind the Conviction movement dynamics then you'll like this game.If you want pure Splinter Cell then you can play it that way, crank up the difficulty and try to ghost the whole mission. Its fun but not the bells and whistles Ubisoft think it is. It's a solid Splinter Cell chapter nothing more.

Horrible Download speed and cheaper on steam
I was silly enough to buy the game here rather than on steam where it is 5 pounds cheaper. Downloads here are 100kb/s whilst on steam i am easily capable of getting 8MB/s downlods. I strongly advise steam!
