This stuff stinks to high heaven, and it's a chemical smell in the material, so not even something that goes away or fades. It's completely unusable for me.I bought it to dampen the sound from a small freezer, and had to put it outside after a day. Even once removed, the smell lingered for over a week. I suppose if you use it in a car, it might be ok, but I wouldn't be able to have this in my car either. I can't imagine all the chemicals making it stink are good for anyone to be breathing, never mind the environment.

I tried some of this material in reducing vibrations near an RV generator. It is very thick and soft but is easily torn and crumbles easily.I do not think it will last long under harsh conditions or heavy use. I later switched to another product that I like much better, NOICO WP 150 mil material.

Didn't go as far as I had hoped. But where it went, it worked GREAT! damped sound in a sever case I have.once applied it cannot be easily removed, tears apart easily and shreds if anything sticky is on it and pulled away.

The adhesive is strong. The foam flex well with the door.
