Way better than stock clutches and cheaper to boot.
Just what the doctor ordered and boy oh boy do these clutch disks make a world of difference. Installed in my 2007 roadking with the 96 inch motor and 6 speed transmission and really woke it up, no more jittering on take off and no more heavy acceleration to avoid the jitters. Barnette recommends two different fluids to be used with these clutches, one for smooth engagement and the other for a more firmer engagement, i went with the firmer engagement and have no complaints whatsoever. These are a 1,000 times better than the stock plates and don't cost near as much so if you're going to take the time to do this job buy these and know its done right. Some people are complaining that these are not working correctly for them but I believe its because they aren't removing the two inner stock clutch plates. There are two inner clutch plates that are required to be removed, they are about an 1/8 - 3/8 inch wide, the one in the back is a little hard to see but its there, if you don't remove this one these new clutches won't work properly. Overall this job took about 3 hours at a comfortable pace double checking everything making sure everything was done per installation instructions. You can't go wrong with these and performance wise they will satisfy the most aggressive riders. Highly recommend to anyone needing clutches for replacement. Be safe and happy riding.

Great Clutch
I've been using Barnett clutches on my own bikes as well as my friends. The extra plate kit works great for stock and modified engines. Smooth shifting operation, easy to find neutral, it hooks and books.

Smooth as silk
Installed this extra plate kit and the difference was night and day. Of course the old one had 44k on it so that makes a difference as well. But it puts it all the the ground. Bought a standard barnett spring as well and it made the handle perfect.

This extra plate kit was so east to install and the shifting is absolutely amazing. Before I installed this kit I had alot of issues with hitting neutral mow I don't have any problems at all.

Engages smoothly and holds. No more slipping!
I've installed this clutch in my 2013 Road Glide Ultra with the Barnett heavy duty spring and I've installed this clutch in a friends 2010 Ultra Limited with the standard Barnett spring.We both replaced the stock clutch for the same reasons. It was slipping too much, especially under hard acceleration or when loaded down with gear and/or passengers.I love this clutch. No more slipping, much better engagement and the bike launches a lot harder when you need to accelerate quickly. I highly recommend this clutch.As for the spring to use, the standard Barnett spring is sufficient unless you have done major modifications to your engine. I wish I would have gone with the standard spring. I put the heavy duty spring in and let me tell you when they say heavy duty, they mean it! You will hate that spring if you are ever in stop and go traffic, ride in a parade, etc... All that said, I can say it definitely does the job though, there is no question as to whether the clutch will hold once you release the lever. It is a very positive engagement and the bike launches hard.

and it works great, especially off the line
The instructions are wrong. If you have all the same size friction plates, discard the two most inner rights (ones a small concave spring and another is a tiny steel one) Barnett apperently switched the kits uprecently.I got the one where you discard the inner spring, and it works great, especially off the line. Make sure to do the clutch diaphragm spring at the same time. Would have given a 5 if it had better I structions

Excellent Clutch
I ordered this clutch for my 08 Road King since the original was starting to slip while riding two up and towing my trailer. This clutch is a direct replacement for the stock and is well worth the money. Not only is it cheaper than Harley's replacement, it's also a better product. I've put just over 5000 miles on the bike during the last month and am totally happy with the performance it provides. I would recommend this clutch to anyone looking to replace a tired one.

02 ultra classic. Loves it.
Omg this fixed so many issues. Before installing it was hard to find neutral. Now I can find it easy. I definitely feel like I can add more power to the bike and not have any problems.
