Mann Filter C 30 139 Air Filter

Nice, perfect fit. Not too snug or loose, just right! Good, sturdy material and easy to install. Can’t pass up a great deal with quality like this. First beemer for me but it seems a little better than the Mahle filter it had pre-replacement. Apparently this is up for debate, nonetheless you’re buying a high quality product here.

Looks like the same Mann item I purchased in 2021. Made in Germany. Fits fine.

I have purchased a similar one (made in China) that I found not too reliable. This has been made in Germany, according to claiming and it seems more trustworthy.

I bought this for my 2007 530i because I took a look in the filter box and saw that my current filter was deformed, hard and somewhat dirty. Now a little backstory, I used to always get my filter replaced by valvoline back before I was a car nut. Now I can’t say for sure whether their filters are worse than these but my intuition tells me that Germans have much higher quality control than most other countries and this filter was definitely top notch. The material and overall construction of the filter seemed to be of higher quality than my last one. I bought this at a fraction of the cost of what I used to pay and changed the filter in less than a minute. My fuel economy is up a bit, throttle response is slightly better and I can rest easy knowing my engine is getting completely clean air. This filter was worth every penny, don’t get scammed by mechanics or lube shops - do it yourself!

This air filter is stock quality. Pure BMW quality. Fine to use. I used mine for 3 years with no issues. Today I replaced it with a Spectre Performance Air Filter also from Amazon.com. It was about $25 for the upgrade. If you want some extra get up and go get the Spectre its on the left in my photo. If you are conservative and want to stick with orthodox BMW parts. Get this exact replacement. It’s a good one. Just make sure to replace it often. I use mine for 3 years. That was too long. So my car was so happy to breath again with the new Spectre filter. It may have been happy enough to get an new standard filter like this one. Still now I’d go with the Spectre (It’s like a K&N only costs less.

It's a genuine air filter for the BMW E60 n52b30AE

I had the option of buying a so called OEM product for about 3x this price. Perhaps it would be slightly better but I wanted to try this. Works great. It performs as well as the product that came with the car, the fit was perfect and the design was such that you cannot install the product incorrectly (e.g. upside down or left/right). I highly recomend.
