I struggled installing this, but not as much as others, I think.It is a great price on the last thing I needed to finish out my ideal bed setup.I have a Truck Trolley inside (check it out, fantastic alternative to the Decked system), a retractable bed cover with T-slot rails, and these cross bars installed over all of it.I have a rooftop tent up there, and the whole setup works beautifully.I like that these cross bars are adjustable, too. The default height was too low, and the tent blocked almost my entire rear view.I just loosened some nuts, adjusted them higher and tightened it down. Now I can see out my back window with everything installed.Great value, but a bit of a pain to install. Definitely worth the price.

T bolts, nuts, washers and lock washers missing, but they sent 3 bags of others bolts. The threaded inserts (2) were assembled incorrectly. Aluminum has excess material that needed to be removed to install next pieces. No options to send missing items. Amazon rep Carla was Un cooperative and not sympathetic to my issue. I’m found a solution to just send a bulk package of t bolt hardware, but she was not willing to help or let me talk to her supervisor. It will cost more to return and replace the rack instead of sending bolts or giving me a credit to purchase locally.

The rack is solid and IMHO pretty well designed....but the bolts that connect to the threaded anchors in the T-slots are about 2mm-3mm too short. With the flat washer and the spring lock washer, it's almost impossible to get produce enough slack to cleanly slide the towers into the t-slots of the crossbars. I ended up going to the hardware store to buy star lock washers instead--which are thinner but still lock--to get it assembled.Once assembled, though, it works great...and surprisingly little wind noise on my Ford Maverick.

The pictures showed a few different products and description did not outline any measurements. On a whim, I purchased these to give them a try.Right out of the box I noticed that the bars themselves were very large. When I tried to attached my Yakima Skybox, the clamps were not anywhere near large enough to fit around the bars. So I went to the backup plan; attaching via a T-track mount. Turns out the top slot in the bars has an opening of 17.6 X 5mm. A typical T-track opening is ~20 X 5mm. I can't find 17mm T-bolts anywhere, making this rack incompatible with clamp on roof carriers and with T-track mounts.The next thing I verified was the T-track hardware that came with this item. The bolts are a very wonky size; ending up being too small to fit in a typical T-track system. While inconvenient, not a deal breaker as you can purchase T-bolts. Just be aware that sturdy T-bolts are not cheap and you'll need 8 of them to mount these bars.It is too bad that these bars are not fully thought out because they look very sturdy. It is because of the build quality of these that I am leaving a 2 star review. They could be very good for hauling/strapping items down to. They could also be used with very large brackets for rooftop accessories.

I returned the item because it does not fit my vehicle as advertised. Specifically the item cannot be installed without a T Rail system!
