Better than accordion type boots
Have used the accordion style boots over 20 years ago on my vintage VW and tried them again two years ago, figuring they'd be better quality nowadays but nope. The accordion types always hardened and cracked over time, especially when jacking up the car which is when the axle shafts cause the VW trans horns to apply pressure against them!Best to use the rubber type like these which are narrower & come in single packs with the split design that allows for easy replacement of existing boots.
