Easy Setup and Definitely Waterproof
We camped early June in Hoosier National Forest. Although we weren’t able to use the suv attachment we were still able to use it as a stand alone tent which gave us plenty of space. It rained the entire Friday night thru Sunday morning and our tent held up to the amount of rain we had. Definitely easy to set up and tear down. I highly recommend this tent with a. Screen porch attached!

Attached Pole System needs to be more robust
I cannot recommend this tent due to the lack of reliable functioning of the attached pole system which desperately needs to be more robust. This may be a supplier vendor situation as on face value and visual inspection they have a good design but this should be investigated at Geertop’s level for resolution. I have field tested this tent and I am also in the process of a second return. Keep reading if you would like the whole story…Upon receipt of the first tent I decided to perform a trial set-up to make myself familiar with the equipment. Instructions were lacking any practical detail but did state that in set-up you should work from top to bottom in deploying the attached poles and opposite for breakdown. All pole sections were working well although I did notice that you had to keep any pressure to the poles to an absolute minimum until the pin lock engaged as they tended to stick if too much extraneous pressure was present. I was unable to fully deploy the final lowest section with multiple attempts as the pole was not locking into place and after a brisk pull to the section it came off in my hands. I was able to fix the pin lock on this section, tested the fix multiple times and decided that I would use the tent for a field test in my upcoming camping trip to see if I liked the tent but would return and replace as I was unsure if my pole repair could be trusted in the long-term. The tent performed well, we were very comfortable. We also experienced two very heavy rainstorms and the waterproofing was excellent. We kept the rain fly in its canopy position and there was significant pooling on the canopy during the rain that required manual assist to drain. The other thing that I noticed was that one of the top section’s pin lock released twice during the rain. It was a minor nuisance and I think was caused by the pressure of the canopy pooling as the rain fly goes directly over the tent’s attached poles. Set-up and take down went smoothly. The storage bag is of sufficient size for easy packing. Overall, the tent passed its field test and so I decided to move forward with my return & replace strategy. Upon receipt of the second tent I decided to do a set-up to make sure all was in working order. While extending the middle tier poles one of the bottom tier poles literally fell off without a touch or any pressure from my actions in extending the pole section above it. I believe that there will be ongoing problems with these poles until the poles are replaced with a more reliable model. Too bad as it is a nice tent with a lot of nice features but I do not want to take the chance of another failure and wasting my money.

Good tent
Needs more magnets to seal the tent to the car. Had to purchase additional magnets to go with it. Aside from that this is a good quality tent and very spacious inside.

work great with Tesla model Y!
I bought this tent to use with our Tesla model Y and it worked great. The many adjustable straps help to make a snug fit to keep the bugs out, I also added 4 strong magnets, 2 on each side to help hold the tent to the van just in case moving around in the model Y loosened anything. The rain fly is real easy to put on and the tent is really roomy and the window ventilation is great. I'm really glad I bought this tent and hope to use it for many years.

USED TENT
Second review first one did not get posted and no answer from the shipper. My tent had 2 holes on the roof and 1 of the Rods were broken. I am truly disappointed because its actually a beautiful tent.

Disappointed by the poor design and missing key items
I pride myself for being handy and really (really) good at setting up tents, so I really wanted to love this one because I like the idea of being able to extend the back of my SUV into a tent. However, the excitement was short-lived because as soon as i opened the box, I noticed that several key items were missing:- there were no pins included, which meant that the tent would easily blow away with the slightest gust of wind …and it did.- 3/4 of the telescopic main legs did not hold up at the last ‘click’, and one of the three didn’t even have a pin in the leg to allow it to click into place. Therefore, as you can see in the photo, the middle part of the tent sagged because it couldn’t extend all the way.- the ‘post’ for the front awning had NOTHING to secure it in place and it kept on collapsing at every slightest movement! I mean…talk about bad design! I’m surprised that I was even able to capture this photo of the tent standing up because it could barely last 10 mins before collapsing again. 🤦🏻♀️I hardly ever post reviews but this experience was so bad that I can’t just sit back and allow someone else to go through the same amount of frustration we went through. And though I can go on and on about how poorly executed this ‘idea’ was, but I’ve already wasted enough time and energy on this item and I just want my money back.Buyers, beware. So many other better products out there at half the price.

Useful tent
I used to have a one person tent but it was so small and had no space for me to stretch, so I decided to buy this bigger tent for camping with my friends. It has a very simple instruction, but you can figure out soon once you start put the tent up. The whole bag is not too heavy, at least I can carry it. The tent inside is big, I would say it would be good to fit four people if you want to have some more space for stretching.
