---NOTE: DOES NOT COME WITH BATTERY. YOU NEED TO PURCHASE YOUR OWN POWER BANK---I bought mostly as a joke purchase since I had extra spending cash but ended up having a lot of fun with it. The app took some getting used to and I believe it was originally in Chinese because there are some wonky translations here and there. I will say that if you aren't tech savvy, just using the user uploaded gallery is still a good option and adding text to the backpack is super easy. Putting your own images and gifs is where things can get a little complicated. It was driving me insane at first because I couldn't figure out what the screen resolution was for the backpack but I FINALLY determined it is exactly 64x64. Every image and gif I've edited in photoshop now turns out perfectly for uploads now. The only downside of it being 64x64 is obviously the loss of detail. You won't be able to put super high resolution images on it and be able to make anything out. If you stick to simpler things, it's absolutely perfect. DO NOT go into this expecting it to display 1080p HD or anything like that. Video files aren't an option either. Strictly .gif .jpeg and .png. I mostly use this for night riding on my motorcycle and it gets some laughs. I feel like it was a fun purchase and look forward to how well the bag itself and the screen keeps up.

I really love how the backpack looks but I’m getting a problem where the image isn’t straight on the bag.I’ve tried to go into the app and rotate it but it’s done nothing to alleviate the issue.

I’ll start with the basics, the graphics capacity for this bag is amazing. Plug in the USB to a power source and it will start its default display letting you know that it is an LED display bag. After that you will need to download the app. While most of the app is in English, the terms and conditions aren’t. So you will be guessing as to what you are agreeing to when you load the app onto your phone; unless you are able to read Chinese. The bag can be operated by WIFI or Bluetooth. For practical purposes it will be more likely you will use the Bluetooth application since that would be the best way to use it while away from home. While the bag begs be used on the road – I mean who could resist giving traffic a show – the manufacture makes it clear that for travel safety they don’t supply a power source. Best option – and I did look to see if I might have missed some other configuration for using this when traveling – is a C type USB portable charger battery. I grabbed one that I have, plugged the USB in and the unit fired right up and started playing what I programmed in it. The App comes with a lot of gif files to choose from and does allow you to customize your own text and doodles using its graphic features. You can create long displays, short displays or just loops of your favorite gif. The one thing I’ve not found is how to import my own graphics into the app. A very cool piece of tech that will allow you to make a statement while you are out and about.

Came without LED... I bought this as a gift, and imagine our surprise!

The backpack has a really cool look to it even when it's off. It has some really cool secret pockets. I wish it had a pocket on the strap to carry things like bus passes but that's not a big deal. The main storage area is wide open but tricky to access since it only opens from the side with the straps. I like the material that it's made of and the all the padding that it has. My only problem with it was the app. Four vendors on virustotal flagged it as a trojan. I installed it anyways and it forces you to agree to data collection. I'm not trying to install sketchy apps on my phone just to animate my backpack. If they used a regular app that could be downloaded from the Play store and it didn't try to collect my information then I think this would have been a great product.
