Good charger
I don't think you find a better charger at this pricepoint. So far I charged (topped off) three lead acid batteries, and attempted to recover a dead battery. It worked great on the good batteries, but couldn't restore the dead battery, which was likely too far gone. The charger is easy to use and the built-in fan is a great feature. I would recommend this charger to others.

Works surprising well, better than expected
This renewed a 2-year old oreilley store brand battery. It was not holding a charge enough to to crank the engine right off the charger before. After a couple days on this repair charger it was almost like new. Stayed above 12.6v for a longtime. It takes at least a day, I let it repair for about five days.My battery was nothing but a core charge refund before using this. It’s lasting six months and counting.

Usually does No Charging
Out of maybe 20 attempts to charge a dead lead-acid battery with this product,I have seen it operate (i.e. charge) only twice, after connecting the leads. It powers up and actually displays a lot of information, when the leads are Not connectedto the battery. When connected it usually displays some of of "EII" display graphicand does No charging.I have no idea how this product decides to charge or not to charge. When it has worked, it seems to transition between .7 Amp and 1.5 Amps @120V ,every couple of seconds. It does seem to be programmed to do something, but seems to refuse to do itoverwhelmingly most of the time.Unfortunately, by the time I discovered this, it was after the Amazon Return period. No idea how to contact the manufacturer.
