These worked Perfect. The origional factory 1 was a real pain to take apart, without damaging the mother board. It was Glued/Bonded together. I had to cut it apart with a little coping saw and break it into pieces. The new one went together in about 3 minutes.

It was easy to set up. They both just worked after following the process. However, one of them quit working and I can't get it synced to my car again. But that's a pretty common thing to happen on these aftermarket fobs. I'll probably take it apart and drop the circuit board from my broken fob and put it in there.

So these do work, but the hard part is getting the circuit board and key out of the OEM key fobs. I used a Dremel tool to cut around the sides of the OEM fob and then pliers to pull apart. Brought the circuit board and key over to these shells. They fit well and all works. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 as the spring load does not jet the key fob out very well, but it's WAY better than having the old fobs with the broken push buttons.

Great price! And perfect for replacing broken fobs. My local locksmith easily used it to replace the outer shell on my key.

First of all the programming of these remotes is pretty difficult. I did however get it done. The instructions were not very clear at all. I actually had to find different videos in order to program the remotes. They never did work correctly as my car did not detect them so I had to take both sets of keys at all times and leave one in the programming hole inside of my console in order for the car to start. After about four days, the remote that I was using from outside of the car went dead. Thank goodness the other one stayed inside of the remote hub inside of my console because I had to call OnStar in order to gain access to my vehicle. I wound up going to Chevrolet and buying a remote from them and having them program it and it works perfectly. I recommend not wasting your money on this product and spending the extra money to go to your dealer. By the time all of this was figured out of course my return to Amazon date had passed.

The car arrived fast, it was easy to program. I recommend it to any one the needs keys.

Locksmith said they didn’t have the detector sensor or something. Basically the key is great to lock, unlock doors and trunk, and auto start but doesn’t recognize the key for starting the car before driving. I keep an old key in the slot inside the armrest so I don’t get the “no remote detected” message.
