Q: Is it waterproof, it will be okay from rust of water or sea

It is made from Zinc alloy so it should not rust but will tarnish. .

Q: how do you take of the protective sticker of the square in the middle? suppose to be black but has white & red sticker looking thing instead.

It comes off very easily. I just peeled off from a corner and the black part is exposed. I guess it just protects it in shipping. I was actually surprised to see it on there seems unnecessary. Hope this helps

Q: Ring od is 0.97 inch (call it "an inch") id is 0.2 inch? the id is mighty small, less that 1/4 inch? that makes no sense

The .2 inch is an error. The id of mine is 13/16" (using a small ruler so it may be 1/16 +/-). Very good key chain. I'm very happy with it.
