The positive post has slots for the connector to go in. For some reason this alternator has slots rotated to 45 degrees from the normal position. This means that the connecting wire needs to be stressed to get it on. Since the wire doesn't have much slack, it's not easy and prone to causing damage to the wire. I'm scratching my head why the alternator be manufactured like that

I looked up an alternator for a 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5, and DB Electrical AVA0074 is the one that comes up as being compatible for my vehicle, but it isn’t. Now I have to return it, and wait for them to refund me my money. In the meantime I’m without a vehicle, and unable make any money until I’m refunded and able to purchase another alternator. Btw the alternator they sent me is compatible with a 2007 Sentra/Altima, and I clearly typed in 2005 Nissan Altima 2.5l. Such an inconvenience!!!!

When I redid my daughters Altima, it was just crazy how much money I saved by ordering on Amazon instead of going to Autozone. When you need a part immediately you don't have a choice. But if you can wait 2 days on Amazon then you will save a ton of money like I did on this Alternator. This alternator is good quality and works great.

Used for few months and rear bearing load noise sense i have used it now binding up and car dosent work.

I got this for a discounted price because of damage to the regulator plastic housing. I switched it out with the original regulator and it worked well.

Been using the car for 2 months after purchase and it works perfect no Noise from it
