excellent quality
Excellent quality, I had experience with a similar brand X Import knock off that did not work due to poor quality, this American made gas tank roll over check valve and filer inlet fixed my tank. It is double sealed, it has in internal O ring and a high quality thick external gasket. It is well designed and well made, immediate response from their customer service when called. Saved the cost of a new GM gas tank and if the new replacement tank has not been redesigned the same problem would reoccur, I highly recommend this product and seller.

Fixed
Repaired my 03 Trailblazer , no more gas smell when filling up from , thankfully didn't have to replace the tank because they are almost impossible to find in a salvage yard intact and the rollover inlet seems to be a factory flaw , also no more EVAP code P0400 or check engine light, so glad someone took the time to create a fix for this issues

The part fit exactly the way I thought it would I had to do a little work to make it fit but it was perfect save me the hassle of having to buy an expensive fuel tank works perfectly fine my check engine light is off and stayed off and is now holding feel like the stock tank would perfect product saved my life

Torque it down if you have the tools specs in tube
Getting this tight took all my strength along with a huge pair of plyers at least crush the white washer where it won’t spin.

The black and white o rings go on the outside of tank.
Used this in my 2004 silverado 5.3 ls 6' bed. Lift the bed off (8 bitchin bolts) and you don't have to drop tank.

Great design and good fit
After a few hours of rolling with the tank, I got the kit installed and it has worked flawlessly since. Very nice alloy machining job.

Don't use, the plastic in the check valve swelled and now I have to pay to remove my tank again!
I installed this about 1 year ago and it seemed to work just fine, what could go wrong, it’s a machined alum part with a spring and a check valve made of plastic. It’s even made in the USA and that’s why I chose it over the Dorman part, even though it was seventy dollars more. Well, I suddenly couldn't put fuel in my truck last week, as it would instantly overfill out of the tube. I figured it had something to do with the inlet hose to the tank, maybe getting bent or crushed somehow. Nope, so I removed the inlet pipe, and the check valve was stuck in the closed position, I pushed on it and it barely moved, as though it swelled or the spring got wedged in it. I called the manufacturer and was told the units were suffering from the plastic valve swelling! And that they would send me the new plastic part and a new spring. Wow they were going to offer me the parts to fix their assembly myself, I asked what about the 700 dollars plus the mechanic will charge me to drop my tank again, remove the fuel pump again, remove and repair the part again, and reinstall it all again? Ahhhhh well we can only offer you the parts to fix our junk yourself they replied… So check out the Dorman part over this junk. PS thanks for making me spend another 700 bucks to fix it again for nothing.
