Full of fascinating information
The information that came out of this book really had me thinking differently about how the body works. I appreciated how digestable the content was considering the topic.I enjoyed reading the interviews from the Pros listed in this book and thought they all did a great job breaking down the information in a way that could be understood by the layman.I also found Bill's humor a nice way to make the read more enjoyable. This book will definately have you considering how you approach your next workout and possibly get you to try something new, or at least look into this topic further.

Important, Ground-breaking information
Bill Parisi did a fabulous job interviewing industry experts and intertwining their research with his 30+ year career training NFL, MMA, NFL Combine hopefuls and youth athletes. He took the idea of the Biotensegrity model and expanded on it to include it into its function in 3D, whole-body motion. In addition, it is explained in a way that is clear, and entertaining. All strength coaches, athletic trainers, physical therapists, and body workers can get something from this book.

Worth a read
This is a good read for anyone interested in broadening their understanding of what comprehensive, intelligent training looks like. “Fascia Training...” provides perspectives from a number of experts on a topic that is not covered as often as a lot of more traditional training methods.I will definitely read more books on this subject, and would recommend this book to others.

No Training Info
A few things I'd like to point out. First, this should be titled something to the effect of My Thoughts and Musings About Fascia, or What I learned About Fascia During Meals and Conferences. Second, this book could be easily condensed to 50 pages or less. The writer is overly concerned with telling you what kind of salad he ordered and what he was drinking (on multiple occasions throughout the book) than getting to the part of how to train your fascia. In fact, I'm at the end of the book, almost finished and he says right there- we don't know how exactly to train the fascia; you can't train it on its own, it's an interconnected system and we're still learning. Seriously? You don't say. Anyone who knows half a thing about exercise could tell you that. He doesn't actually offer anything in the way of how to accomplish this task of training in a way to benefit the fascia more than average exercises. That's why I bought the book! He leads you on a sort of biographical journey (with much too flowery details IMO) as he learns about fascia and has conversations with some folks who have been learning about it too. One of the more promising people is a man who invented the OHM machine, which is sort of interesting but then again it's painted as this thing reserved for high-profile athletes and the facilities lucky enough to have one and use it for the aforementioned or for physical therapy. How in the world this book is useful, other than a few pieces of information on fascia that yes are interesting, is still confusing to me.

Good summary of fascia and to make you think
Enjoyed the book and the style made the book an easy read. If you want a thought provoking book and a resource for other resources this is a good place to start. Already thinking about how to change what I do with the fascial system in mind!

Do not waste your money
A complete waste of time and money. 171 pages of nothing but personal stories and irrelevant pictures. I am not sure what this book is supposed to be about, but "training" is nowhere to be found. The authors ramble on about people they know and commercial gymnasium exercise machines and quotes and experiences of other people. There is not one sentence in this book about "training", or exercises or a methodology to develop or enhance the body's facia for athletic development or improvement. Do not buy this book if you are interested in a training regimen and program. It would make a decent doorstop and that's it.

Great read!
Bill's approach of interviewing experts and narrating it with her personality really works. I learned a ton from this book and it has inspired me to spend additional time investigating and doing some critical thinking about the fascia system. A good balance of science, application and fun!
